Jess nodded her head in a daze. Who was Jess kidding no where was going to be safe. Not for her or anyone around her. Jedd now had more power over her in death than he did in life. Jess knew that somehow Jedd had found a way to throw Trevor over that railing. He was thrown just as she was thrown in that hospital room.

"Bring in the stand-in!" A murmur rippled through the crew. From the sidelines, a timid young woman stepped forward. Her resemblance to Allie was uncanny, though her demeanor was far more reserved. Samuel gestured toward her and introduced, "Allie, this is your stand-in, Jessica Lane. She’ll handle the kiss scenes and any stunts deemed too risky." Jessica bowed slightly. "Hello, Ms. Brooks. I’m honored to work with you. Please guide me moving forward." Allie raised an eyebrow in confusion. She hadn’t been informed about the need for a stand-in, let alone approved one.
