' Jessa groans frustratingly at her failure to forget what she heard back at Edmond's office. She has been recalling it ever since she left the building and now, she is on her bed still thinking about it. She has even tried to sleep but she just can't push the thoughts out her mind. She would have thought a great force is making the memories stuck so deep in her memories like a glue to a paper but hey, Jessa is never a person to believe in such supernatural things so she immediately dismisses it. She has been reading a lot of fantasy books, as well as supernatural books but she thinks they are all a creation of people.

Don't we still have three months to go?" Jessy asked. Watson shook his head. "Although we have three months left, we cannot delay too long. Our position could be replaced." Watson moved closer to Jessy with an intense look in his eyes.

~Justin~ To claim that I wasn't repulsed by Jessica's admission would be a falsehood. This woman had committed egregious acts, and her motivations were indefensible. How could she betray her own brother, the man who provided refuge when she had nowhere else to turn, who helped her through the loss of her mate, and stood by her when no one else cared? The betrayal of not only him but also scheming against her nephew, her brother's sole offspring, all driven by sheer greed, left me thoroughly disgusted.

Thankfully, it was something Granny chose to have locked away in possession somewhere else, and Jessica had managed to recover them. Jessica touched the beads around her neck as she whispered, “I miss you, Granny. Say hi to Grandad for me.” As Jessica’s fingers touched the soft wood, she felt a strange pulsing sensation ripple up her arm. It felt like electricity beneath the redhead’s skin. Straight after, Jessica began to feel warm. Which led to heat, which led to searing burning her flesh like fire. Before Jessica could scream out in pain, it was gone.
