The crowd was dense, but I pushed through and made a beeline for the stairs. I drew nearer and the individual glanced up and met my gaze briefly before averting his eyes. As a Goddess, I had expected her to be born with silver eyes like the other Gods, but instead, they are the perfect mix of her mother’s golden eyes and the blood red that once signified Oshmin’s curse.
