It wasn’t the background that drew attention, but everything else.
Sunlight was painted across the backdrop in slashes of vibrant yellows, reds, and oranges. The sun was a glowing orb off to the side, hovering directly over a cluster of people with flaming red hair. Their eyes were glowing with the same colors of the sun, a pale yellow that shimmered even on paper.
“It looks a lot like us.” I confirmed, but a splotch of inky darkness pulled my gaze even lower, towards the slashes that looked an awful lot like mountains.
