The Last Thunder
Usha suddenly appeared on the windowsill, distracting him for a second from his book to reply the kitten.
“Hey, buddy. How’s your adventure today? Oh did you bring fish home?” Jai asked, not at all feeling weird that the kitten brought back something again today. Apparently, it had become the little creature’s habit to bring home carcasses, or its ‘prey’. Either for it to be cooked or just showing it to them like some sort of achievement.
“You know, I would be okay with you bringing dead fishes like right now. But can you not bring animal carcasses or corpse again? It’s not very clean,” Jai said as the kitten jumped to the dinner table from the counter it was previously walking on.
