Valeria’s POV “One month and we’ve worked together… and you’re still embarrassed to receive any kind of care from me?” Josie asks incredulously, helping me sit on the couch in her office. She hands me a tissue and I use it to wipe my mouth. “You better start getting used to it now.” I smile at her, drinking the water that she offered to hopefully ease my nausea. Josie is the woman I found along the road on the way to the Human world. She’s the one who drove me there, and we have been inseparable ever since.

"No, this is impossible!" Josie had completely lost her mind. A screech escaped her as she threw herself forward, a scowl twisting her delicately made-up face.
