Marked by the enemy alpha

Marked by the enemy alpha

--- That night, as Kael and Aria reviewed the prophecy again, a howl cut through the air—long, sharp, urgent. A scout burst into the room. “Alpha! Luna! You need to see this.” They rushed to the eastern border, where several warriors stood in a half circle. A strange object had been placed just inside their territory—a severed wolf paw, wrapped in black cloth, with a single rune etched in blood: “Judgment.” Kael’s jaw clenched. “It’s a warning.” “No,” Aria said, eyes narrowing. “It’s a declaration.” The winds howled around them, and in the distance, lightning cracked across the sky.

Beyond the Forge

Beyond the Forge

I could feel the weight of the Pit shifting against me. Julian reached into his pocket. Palmed something into my hand so fast nobody caught it. A small folded paper. "Read it alone," he said quietly. "Real one this time. From Viktor." Then he turned and raised his voice for the crowd. "402 thinks he is special. Today he fights the bag blindfolded. If he goes down, every boy in this Pit loses their meal for two days." They tied black cloth over my eyes. Nothing. Complete dark. I could hear the bag. Three hundred pounds of sand swinging somewhere in front of me. I could not see it.

The Fatal Judgement

The Fatal Judgement

My blood core had been compromised long before tonight. The Elysium was packed. A recorder near the entrance held a crystal orb pulsing with pale light — this trial was being broadcast live to every Covenant territory on the continent. I understood then that this wasn't justice. This was theater. Cael broke through the crowd and grabbed my sleeve with both hands. "Why won't you tell us?" His voice cracked down the middle. "I've waited ten years. Every night I dream about her. She's calling for justice and you just—" He couldn't finish. He pressed his face against my arm.

THE ALPHA KING'S STOLEN MATE

THE ALPHA KING'S STOLEN MATE

Judicar-One looked to Aria. “Judgment... postponed.” And it shattered into a thousand crystalline sparks. The skies wept stardust. The land breathed again. Elizabeth held her daughter close. Lucian wrapped an arm around Liam. Saelith whispered, “The Root has seen. It will send another.” Elizabeth nodded. “Let it. We’ll be ready.” Aria stood tall, glowing, her aura a dawn that defied all laws.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Dark King

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Dark King

“You can’t destroy what I am.” The Trial’s form rippled violently, the brilliant silhouette distorting at the edges. Impossible, it thundered. No mortal can absorb the spear of judgment. “I’m not absorbing it,” Aria said. “I’m balancing it.” Light continued to coil around her, but it no longer felt hostile. It felt like recognition—like the realm was remembering something about her it had tried to forget. The Trial surged forward, its form intensifying, growing until it towered above her like a solar storm taking shape. The sky cracked open further, spilling brilliance that hummed with fury.

The Art Of Dying

The Art Of Dying

To unlock them, one team member must accept permanent judgment. RULE 7: Permanent judgment means eternal imprisonment in the cathedral. You will become part of it. Forever. RULE 8: Choose quickly. You have five minutes. Failure to choose results in all team members receiving permanent judgment. "No," I said louder. "No, they can't..." "Oh, and one more thing!" the voice continued. "To make sure everyone plays fair....no looking at the stained glass windows anymore! Anyone who looks will experience their deepest shame on repeat until they break! Just to keep things interesting!"

Alpha Zephyr’s Rejected Mate

Alpha Zephyr’s Rejected Mate

’’Zephyr paused, his gaze sweeping across the camera as if he were looking at me. ‘’The alpha king and the council of elders who Legora killed played roles in this, and they destroyed an entire pack, ending it because of their greed!’’ It was Cypher who spoke up this time. ‘’Today, they will all face the judgment according to the rules of Eradon.’’

The Pack's Vampire

The Pack's Vampire

Thorarin said from below, and, surprised that his father was still awake, Thaelen turned from Sigrid and eased his way carefully to the edge of the platform so that he could look down into the room below. The revelry had ended, and the house below had cleared. Only his parent’s personal blood slaves, sleeping along the now empty benches and on the floor around the opposite end of the fire, and his parents remained. Lagita perched on the arm of the High Chair, her elbow resting on Thorarin’s broad shoulder. “He grows bold for a human king,” Lagita observed. “Claims to be the chosen monarch of a new god, one from a country to the East. He says this god is the only god, and that all should aban

I didn't realize just how alluring an ancient vampire could really be until I dove into Talen's past and had my heart broken and stolen by the depth of soul in this character. Everleigh has such a gift for creating these characters with so many layers you can't believe they're not real.

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

“Kill him. I want you to shoot him. Shoot him straight through the heart, dead where he stands, just as you did Caliphus. You’re an excellent shot. I know you won’t miss, even with the dueling sabers. Besides, if he has me on the ground, it should make for an easy shot for you, should it not?” Kelvin nodded slowly, considering the sight in his mind, “Extremely.” He pictured in his mind the scene, Blackridge having overcome Kallida’s magic and knocking the sorcerer from his feet, disarming him. There would the Archmage stand with the point of his pyrite sword at the Inquisitor’s throat, waiting for him to call on redemption, and... pull. His fingers felt the string’s release as his eyes marke
