I nod, letting out a quiet sigh of relief. That went a lot better than I expected. “Yeah. I think so, too.” I really hate to lie to him, but he left me no choice. This conversation with Matthew must happen, regardless of the consequences I’ll face with him. Walking into the station house, I saunter over to the coffee machine. I quickly poured myself a cup before making my way back to my desk. While taking a sip, I fail to notice Detective Simmons rushing to his desk. The entire cup gushing over my shirt drenching it entirely. I gasp out in shock and pain. “I’m so sorry! Are you okay?” I barely hear Simmons frantically say.

We had been so deep in conversation that neither of us had heard the Eater sneak up on us. We trained our weapons on it ready to defend ourselves. However, when I got a good look at it, my trigger finger suddenly stopped working. The creature was a young girl who looked no more than sixteen. The translucent pallor of her skin allowed the blue and red vessels underneath to pop like they were all going to burst at once. Her clothes looked freshly washed which was extremely unusual these days. Her brown hair was shorn short, but unevenly like she had fidgeted a lot during the haircut. Or tried to fight to suck out the trimmer's soul during the session.

The older one couldn’t be more than fourteen, and the little one huddled in her lap crying was maybe three at best. The girls hurried away into the far corner on the other side of the toilet. I couldn’t see any bruises, at least from here. Please don’t let them have hurt these kids. “It’s okay. We’re here to help. I’m Detective Hibiki Konishi of the San Francisco PD.” Hibiki softly greeted, crouching down and offering his wallet that displayed his badge and license.

I nod, snapping my gaze towards her, “Yes, I do! You’re just repeating what I already know. Stay clear of A-Jun… I get it. I’d rather sit on a cactus than share the same air with him… again.” “Good,” Jane says. Getting up from the bed, she walks over to a chair, sitting facing me with her legs crossed. Second on the list is Kaito.” “Kaito?” I ask. “Who the fuck is Kaito?” “He is a Japanese prisoner; he committed massacre, terrorism, and a lot of atrocities,” Jane announces. “That’s a lot of crime.” I chip in.

Kaito called out while dragging a bloodied, limp waiter… I mean the assassin- his eyes wild with rage and bloodlust. Hawk nodded before pulling Charlotte and me into his big embrace. He conversed a little with Kaito in Italian, and then Kaito flashed one smile I had never seen on him. It was jarring, cold, lifeless. Like a whole other entity had just possessed his body. He looked empty. Like a demon sent to haunt all the living. “This motherfucker and I have a lot to talk about!”

*Third POV* “See I will tell you everything about the basement and other stuff as we have a lot to talk about. First, why not he have our breakfast. I dont want it to end with the quarrel and you once again avoid eating” Takeshi smiles placing his hand upon Koishi’s only made him take his hand back the next second. “Okay” Koishi smiles as he avoids looking at Takeshi not noticing the sudden change of expression over his face. “Let's get started with it” Takeshi smiles looking down at his plate as Koishi first takes the cup of coffee recognizing his own cup which has his favourite anime character Gojo Saturo from Jujutsu Kaisen upon it.

With a bored sigh, I fished it out and then placed it on my ear, my eyes never leaving her face. “Speak.” My hand reached out to cup her cheek. I traced the ridges and lines of her face, my thumb caressing the soft skin and stopping at the seam of her lips. I pressed harder on it. Temptations throttled inside of me when her lips parted slightly, and then sucked my tongue into her mouth. I was expecting her to bite it, but her tongue swirled around my thumb, sending a foreign sensation up my groin. “We found who Kaizen has been working with.” Conan’s voice filled the tiny device, and I nodded as though he could see me.

“There is nothing I wouldn’t do to keep you and them safe.” “I know that. I feel the same way, but.” Kit said as Mitsuhide’s phone rang, and they saw it was the detective calling. “Hello?” Mitsuhide answered. “Are you, Kit, and the babies okay?” the detective asked, and Mitsuhide was puzzled by the question. “Yes,” Mitsuhide said as he placed it on speaker, and he put the phone down as he looked at her and mouthed the detective. “Why would you ask that?”

the girl glared at me. Eek! She's scary as hell! "I-I... I don't know either." I uttered mindlessly not knowing whether to state my name or not. "Hmph! Then die!" The girl held her weapon again and charged at an unbelievable speed. "K-Ken'ichi! My name is Saito Ken'ichi! Saito Ken'ichi is my name!" As the girl charged forward at an unbelievable speed, Ken'ichi startled and was so shocked that he didn't even know what to do.

We do not have time for this shit. I rolled my eyes and leaned back against the settee waving for Angelo to continue with his plan. " Thank you. Anyway, Kaito is the only bone who's sort of on good terms with Dante. He can call Dante up and tell him he wants to talk; go outside and shoot the old bastard."" And get shot in the process?"
