Kalikasan Tula Tagalog Mga Nobela at Kwento

The water is clean and clear. I was professionally taught how to dive and swim kaya hindi ako takot na sumuong sa kailaliman ng dagat.

And her heart’s telling her: Break out. “I know, right?” Terra says cheerily. “I’m thinking of taking up Advertising in uni.” “Really?” “Nah, not really. I’m good at selling ideas to only you.” “Does that mean I’m easy to flatter?” Kate asks teasingly. The exact word she used is "bolahin", which is Filipino slang that literally translates to making one’s head round like a ball. “Not all all!” Terra’s quick to make a save. Then, switching to the saccharine side of the Filipino language, he says:

She couldn’t understand what Consuelo was getting at. “What do you mean?” “Could it be that you’re pregnant?” FOOTNOTES (1) Anak: A Filipino term that means child or son/daughter. It is often used by parents when addressing their children. (2) Tablea: Refers to tablets of pure ground cacao used in traditional Filipino chocolate drinks or recipes. I laughed again. "You're wrong again! Stop trying to speak in pure tagalog. What you just said means 'Is that the Right?'. Kanan in english is right, yes. I know what you wanted to say. But the kanan in tagalog is a direction, not the word 'right' you are referring to." [My bad. What's the correct translation of the word 'right' which is not the direction?] "It's 'right' (tama in tagalog)." I said.

He was surprised that he made his way out to the back door without any pursuers. Why did you capture me? And why did you kill my guard? The woman still spoke in Tagalog. Keyller finally understood a few words, like, pinatay and kinuha, which mean, killed and capture. But the rest was blurry for him. He ignored the woman and continued walking while still carrying her and not letting his guard down in case of the enemy's sudden attack.

"Ilang araw kayo doon?" "Dalawa lang, Lola. May pasok din kasi kami, we have to come back early as possible. Ihahatid na lang namin si Marian dito." "Gano'n ba? I'm lucky they know how to speak Tagalog.

We immediately returned to our hotel room. Actually, there is a restaurant inside the hotel but Kalvis said that the food at the front restaurant is better so he took me there. It's almost afternoon but Ester hasn't called us yet. I will do a research about our next stop. General Santos City is one of the progressive cities of the Philippines. This is the Tuna Capital of the country. There are also beautiful resorts in the place and the people there are kind. The Filipino Specialty "pastil" is also very famous there.

If he doesn't want to eat, I don't care anymore. After a while he spoke, "Saan mo gustong pumunta?” (Where do you want to go?) "Can you speak Tagalog? I feel like I'm in the 18th century and you'll just speak English to me?" I said, annoyed. (Baka gusto mong magtagalog? He chuckled. (Where do you wish to go, my lady? May I know?) He even bowed in front of me which made me laugh.
