Kai barked at the healer. The healer bowed and quickly rushed over to Karen's side. Kai nodded to Nicolas and they left the room. He noticed how Nicolas was looking at him. Kai turned to him, he noticed the blood stains on his clothes. Karen's blood. It made him uncomfortable that Nicolas had been there the entire time, watching as Verena tortured Karen till she bled dry. And yet he had the guts to judge him. Perhaps he should punish Nicolas too. But Kai knew that wouldn't have any effect. Nicolas had gone through the same torture as him. Any punishment he dished out will be nothing compared to what Zeke Winterblood did to the both of them.

I growl again, knowing that Raina is helping Brooke remove my marks from her body. When I feel air blast me backwards, I snarl. Yeah, she knows I’m here. However, before I can do anything, I’m hit in the back of the head with a fireball. I turn, ready to fight, when I see Kenna on the ground, holding another fireball in her hand. “What are you doing, Iniko? NIVEA'S POV: I woke up in a dark dungeon. It's cold in here, and damp. 'Goodness I hope Keenan finds me.' I said to Cassi. 'Cassi?' No answer. 'Cassi? Please answer me.' I could feel her but she wasn't answering. Maybe she is asleep still from that wolfsbane. Oh if only me and Keenan would have done the marking ceremony, then he would be able to feel what I feel and maybe he would be able to find me.
