A massive beam of black light shot up from the drilling derrick behind the White House. It pierced the sky, turning the blue afternoon into sudden twilight. "They breached!" Silas yelled. "They tapped the main line!" The black light arched down. It didn't hit us. It hit the Peacekeepers. The soldiers screamed. The black light infused their armor. They began to change. Their silver armor turned black. Their visors shattered, revealing void-black eyes. They grew taller, spiking with geometric shards. "They aren't human anymore," Kai yelled. "He's upgrading them!"

I’m alive with power, and I will not let it go to waste. With a primal cry, I charge into the fray, the rain drenching me as I unleash another bolt of lightning, this time targeting a group of soldiers that had been rallying to retaliate. The energy crackles and snaps around me, and it’s as if the storm has become an extension of my will. The lightning strikes the ground between them, sending them sprawling, fear etched across their faces.

As soon as they finish chanting, something unexpected happens that chills them to the core. Caleb’s body suddenly starts convulsing and lights on fire! Katya and Alana have no time to react before Charlotte barges in while chanting something. “Charlotte, NO!” Katya shouts and tries to stop Charlotte as she steps towards a burning Caleb but fails. Charlotte isn’t just Charlotte in that moment. Katya stops in her tracks as she looks at her. Her eyes glow a vibrant purple color and the power radiating off her forces Katya and Alana to take a step back.

My voice is extremely raspy. "I don't know, I just sort of found you here. I'm sure it's where you parked it last night though." I turn towards the small light voice and see Delilah staring into my eyes. She lifts her head up a smidge and I notice she is wearing her black tank that has the Creations logo on it. Pain slices through my head as I attempt to stand and fall back down on my ass.

He stepped closer, his expression hard. “And why the hell would I help you hmm someone who just tampered with our shipment?” I swallowed hard, knowing this was my only chance. “Because am in trouble, Nick” He narrowed his eyes at me. “And what does that have to do with me? And stop calling me Nick. It’s Lightning to you, Lily,” he stated firmly.

As Hexa Zero Impact erupted, half of Bolt Doyen’s chest was wrecked from the explosion.

Kari was a powerful demon but Hannah and Garin were not going easy on him at all because of how much they hated him. Garin grabbed him by the neck and dove down back to the ground while punching him repeatedly in the face. Just as the ground became visible again, Garin let go and Hannah took his place.
