He could never understand how people could down alcohol in such a manner. That was disgusting. “Speaking of consorts, I don't see your little whore around. Marena? She's always around you like flies to a corpse.” Rea had never liked Marena. They had never gotten along; their interactions were always a string of veiled insults and snarky remarks delivered with fake smiles and saccharine sweetness.
