I've read Heaven and Earth and am well-prepared for the upcoming exam. For the past three days, I noticed that Kayla, Layla's twin sister had been nice to me, I suspected something but since nothing had happened yet I made sure I was extra careful. My Aunt and her husband are not around, Layla has gone out too to God knows where I joined Kayla in the sitting room to see the Kardashians show with her.

Kaiden was seated by Kailani’s side on the couch, staring as she scrolled through her phone, chuckling. Since the incident two days ago, he was just seeing her. She looked so calm and collected even when the internet was buzzing with her name. She didn’t seem to care about the fact that she was trending and not for a good cause. “What’s the problem, Kayla?” Kaiden asked, his voice barely audible. “Oh my God!” she exclaimed, laughing out loud as though she didn’t hear what he said.

Karl's POV Seeing my Dad and the rest of the council members safe and the sound was the best thing that has ever happened, I was happy, honestly, I watched Heedah hug her dad and mom with love, even though they were just foster parents they still meant a lot to her. But there was an issue, a strange girl stood at a corner of the room, she looked like eighteen or seventeen, she must be the Kayla, heedah was talking about earlier. she asks as she looks at me with narrowed eyes. “Caterina, this is High Priestess Kaede Lynx. She is the leader or head of the Blood Crest Witches. Kayla’s POV Kayla had waited until the last possible moment. It had been too easy, too satisfying, to slip into the shadows and disappear without a trace. She had bided her time, played the part of the reformed sister, the one who was finally “better,” but deep down, she knew it was all a lie. She hadn’t recovered—not really. Kayla’s POV The standoff between Harrison and Nathan last night has become the hottest topic in the office today.
