Alvin came all the way from Seattle to kill the Luna of the Starlight pack. "No!" Alpha Declan screams at the top of his lungs, as he gathers the lifeless body of Theodora in his arms, shivering and weeping so badly. "Someone set one of the engines on fire, and it blew up. We still haven't seen the children." One of the guards who has his feet dangling in the air announces, his hands are wrapped around the huge hand of Killian on his neck. The guard lets out a low whimper when Killian growls at him, then groans when Killian drops his hand at his side, causing the guard to fall down, and the impact causes a loud thud.

The silver throwing star left Commander Jarek’s fingers in a blurring flash of lethal light, humming like a hornet as it sliced straight through the rusted iron bars of my cell. I didn’t even have time to scream. With a deafening, animalistic roar that shook the soot from the ceiling, Killian threw his heavy, bleeding frame sideways. He didn’t use his weapon—he used his own body as a shield. The heavy silver star slammed directly into his uninjured shoulder, burying itself deep into his muscle with a sickening crunch and a violent hiss of scorching flesh.
