"Really? Like, do you even hear yourself? Books are far better." "Give me an example." "You said you read romance novels right? The After series is a perfect example." "Sad, 'cause on the contrary, I only watch horror and action movies." He said and shrugged. "Hey! And you were going to argue with me about movies being better than books!" She snapped at him. He shrugged once again and sipped his coffee. "I still stand on that," he said. The argument continued that way, and instead of it being tense, it was relaxing for both parties.

Challenged him. Why was she here? She found herself considering how to leave. Politely. He grinned. “What I mean is the life is different when the body, the book, is, what, a computer tablet? A teeny-tiny phone?” A long sigh. “Pages, real pages, have a hunger to them. A need that isn’t answered when you push a button or, well, whatever it is you do with a whatchamacallit.” “A Kindle.” “Right. A Kindle. Books are greedy to be read. They’re desperate. That electronic stuff?” He shrugged. “It doesn’t have the feel of the page. It can’t feast on your senses. Your hopes. Your dreams.” A pause as he watched her. “You see?”

And my favourite is a children's book named " The Forbidden Fruit - by Redd Edwards. I must have read it cover to cover a billion times over. One time he threatened to burn it, but my pleas subsided his rage. "That book will be the death of you," he warns, looking back over his shoulder from a sea of vape smoke. He likes to smoke. There are very few things the Earth killer likes to do- but vape is one of them. He is smoking 'erbs as we walk into the vast sea of nothing. Desserts of every colour, walls of glass and broken cities fly by as he carries me above, floating on a cloud of his own creation.

I had a hectic day, informing my Editor, talking to my fellow authors and sending emails to those cheap apps. So, my dear readers, if you find our books being advertised on any of the social medias, please inform the respective authors. You can also help us take down those pirate apps by going to playstore and reporting them to google for piracy. It is really saddening that people can so easily leech on other's hard work and make money. Anyhow, today I found my motivation after seeing both my books on the top romance lists. Thanks to all of you for rating, commenting and re-reading my books. It is impossible without you guys!!

I wondered if they had hidden gems, perhaps something I hadn’t read or that Uncle Alex’s book club, Bound To Please, hadn’t discovered yet. My eyes scanned the titles, recognizing several from our book club. But a series we hadn’t yet completed caught my attention. Not all the books were in print, and as much as we loved and wanted to support the indie author, A.D. Burnell, those reading apps could be a bit unpredictable. Yet, in Well Thumbed, all nine of her Queen Among series were here in paperback. I couldn’t resist. I plucked A Queen Among Snakes from the shelf and settled onto the nearest sofa. I set my empty cup down and delved into the book. How did they have books unavailable anywher

When Astrid, as for our employees, Sônia, myself and my occupations, studying with the Kindle, which before I read only to alleviate boredom, suddenly became one of the best satisfactions in life for me, magic In the past, it was well used, adapting it to today's world, it had its benefits. Even if it was all just because he and I talked about Kindle, we read together and he brought me countless books that I downloaded onto my device, whereas before, taking care of Sônia and studying with her were painful obligations.

"It’s wonderful. Now I can place more books on it." "Then you can buy more books," Felix added. I was amazed by the number of books he brought home. a box of books circulating around the internet that I’m definitely curious about. "Books are your own kind of drugs." "No, books are her babies," Jay corrected. They’re both right. Buying books is, for me, a form of addiction. Reading them transports me to different places. It makes me feel like I'm talking to people I've never met in my life. It entertained me in a good way, without any harm. Romances make me feel the kiss of true love. Horror, thrillers, and suspense chilled my bones from skull to toe. Historical fiction taught me a lot about
