Kingdom Hearts: The Keyblade War Novels & Stories

The ancient armies began lowering their weapons. One by one. The Keeper screamed. No! Aureon looked toward him. You cannot defeat love by offering power. The Keeper's crown shattered. The darkness disappeared. For the first time since before creation... there was silence. Lyra looked around. The war was over. Kael reached for her hand. Aiden smiled. Caelus laughed. Solen cried quietly. Orion looked at the newborn stars. Nero embraced his siblings. The little girl climbed into Lyra's arms.

Edgar sighed “Did you ever ask me why they are still there?” I scoffed. “Because you clearly don't want to honor the deal we made.” “No, it's because Arthur is angry, and unable.” My stomach tightened. Arthur was the one who started this war at first. Edgar joined much later when I was winning the war. “I don't understand.” I looked up at him as he moved to my love chair, and picked up his robe. “Arthur doesn’t want peace, Celeste. I made the deal with your father behind his back. Now he’s furious—and unpredictable. My men are stationed in your territory to keep the borders from collapsing before I can end him.”

Daito run the blade through his palm, handing over the dagger to Drom who did the same, they both put their hands over the thirteenth page, as their blood blended and browsed across the book random letters popped up, the entire page was finally filled with peculiar writings. “Can you read it?” Drom asked. Daito perused the page for a while, mastering the instructions. “It says the covenant renewal spell needs the king’s blood directly from his heart, but the covenant-breaking spell needs both the blood of the king from his heart and… and the dark bender's blood, also from his heart.”

On moving day, my mother-in-law blocked the entrance to the complex, kneeling on the ground and begging me to sign a letter of forgiveness, claiming Richard had been mistreated inside. I didn't even roll down the window. I pressed the gas and drove past her. At the new home, I handed Lydia a brand-new access card, its surface embossed with gold patterns. "Lydia, this is the card for the new house," I said. "From now on, this will be your exclusive pass." Lydia wiped her hands and accepted the card with a solemn nod. "Madam, don't worry. I'll keep it safe. I'll always have it with me!"

“You can bleed, can’t you?” A dot of blood had indeed welled up in the tiny cut I had made, hardly enough to be noticeable. Azami recognized the threat for what it was, though; I would be precise enough to kill her instantly. Azami sighed. “You seem to have already forgotten the lesson your mother learned.” I tossed my head in the direction of the battlefield. “I didn’t kill those werecats. And Killian didn’t either. Like I told you, we’re not the ones who want this war. It’s someone else.”

Either for war, treatment, or something else, but what they install in the underground is mostly their war equipment. Besides the underground looks, so beautiful even the ground they are matching is made of gold. "Jesse, pick up that red portion" Stella ordered the worker. "Yes ma" the worker answered as she run to the glass and press some code and the glass opened as she pick up the portion. "Boss, what's that use for?" Switzer asked. "It is actually for treatment, it it's for Mikel, the work is to wash away bad blood..." "That doesn't match the body" Stella answers.

"Please, please, please. Just this one time." He shrugged and reluctantly joined me, sitting down beside me. He theatrically stretched his fingers, and I couldn't help but smile. "Here goes nothing." As his fingers gracefully danced across the ivory keys, a beautiful melody filled the air, captivating my senses. I watched in awe as his hands moved with precision. The final note resonated, hanging in the air for a brief moment before fading away, and silence embraced us. Liam turned to face me and our eyes locked, “That was great.” I whispered.

Connor pulled out a key card from his jacket pocket, holding it up so Kyla could see it clearly in the dim fluorescent light of the cell. The plastic card looked ordinary enough, black with a magnetic strip, but Kyla knew it represented freedom. A way out of this concrete tomb. "This will get you out of the compound," Connor said, his voice low and careful. "Past the main gates, through all the security checkpoints. It's coded to my access level, so no one will stop you. No one will even question why you're leaving."

He looked at the Phantom’s hand, then at the black wires in my chest, and he saw the ticking clockwork where the heart should be. He didn't take her hand. He grabbed the Mirror-Blade by the edge, the violet data burning his palm until his skin sizzled. “Mommy’s heart isn't a garden,” Leo growled, his voice a subsonic roar that shattered the Phantom’s aristocratic mask. “It’s a war.” He wrenched the blade toward his own chest, and the First Omega's shadow lunged from the ceiling finally lunged, completely, slammed into the floor between them.

Because I knew that I had a plan a plan to destroy my enemies and to get what I want. Raze asked me what I was thinking. I told him. I told him that the war was not about kingdoms or power or revenge. It was about the children, the twins and what they represented. They are the future, the key, to everything. I am going to use them to get what I want. A servant came in and told me that a scout had returned. I listened to what the scout had to say and I smiled. Because I knew that Kael was moving his army and that he was committed to defending Stormclaw.
