I was told you had an alliance with my father that was never sealed." I said as I stood in front of them. A guard led me to my seat, and I was facing them directly. “How can that be?” Nicholas asked. I smirked at their shocked and dumbfounded expression. Of course they probably felt they would never see me again, but here they were, to seal an alliance with my pack.

I knew he didn't like Claire. In a way he blamed her and her father for the people we lost to the rogues on that haunted day. She reminded Nic of her father and he hated it.
