KNOCK KNOCK A loud and hurried knock crashed against my door. Who could be on my door, it's barely morning. I gently walked to the door and partly opened the door. Glancing through the door, I was relieved to see Rowan. I really needed a friend right now. “What are you doing here by this time?” I asked. I couldn't care less though, I was just happy he was here. “Nothing really, I just wanted to check on you” Rowan is just a really great friend. I can't imagine how me and Zayne are so lucky to have a friend like him.

Bowen screamed. Everyone could hear the panic and hysteria in his voice. He stumbled off the stage, tripping and lurching toward the backstage area. In his panic, he didn't notice the steps. So, he twisted his ankle and fell straight down, rolling all the way down the stairs. The staff who were backstage finally snapped out of their daze. They fumbled in panic to shut off the screen. The giant screen went black in an instant. I became even more of a joke standing in front of the dark screen alone.

A text from Claire: **“Did you survive Friday? Also, what was up with you and Andrew? ?” I turned the screen face-down. At work tomorrow, people would still talk about karaoke. About interns and cronuts. About office romances and hallway whispers. But I would know something they didn’t. I pressed a palm to my stomach. Nothing. Just silence. Just the quietest, scariest maybe of my life.

I was standing nervously in front of his room. I had been deciding for a while if I should knock. I'm just going to give this food to him, but here I am standing for about fifteen minutes in front of the door. My mind was still wandering about what his sister told me. She caught me off-guard by her words just like his brother. Both of them have the ability to do that to a person. "You can do this," I mumbled. I squeezed my eyes shut as I took a deep breath. I knocked on the door while holding my breath. My forehead creased when I didn't receive any response from him. I faced palm and pressed my lips when I realized that he's sleeping.

CHAPTER SIXTY: * Knock Knock * "Guys, it's me, Daniel, can I come in?" Said Daniel and knocked on the door of the room where Andrien and Frost were in. "Sure," replied Adrien. Daniel sighed and slowly turned the doorknob, entered the room and locked the door behind him. There was complete silence in the room and none of them uttered a single word when Daniel sighed and began, "I'm sorry for everything I have done to you two. I do not know how that happened, I was perfectly fine until ..." he paused for a second before saying the other word.

~Tia~ *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* At first, I thought it was a part of my dream, this annoying knocking. I turned over multiple times, hoping it would go away. It was the knock on my bedroom wall that got me moving. ‘WOULD YOU ANSWER THE DAMN DOOR?!’

In her heart Alina asked herself: How much longer before I'm completely erased? Thirty minutes later... There was a knock on the bedroom door. Alina knew it wasn't Mrs. Helen who came. But, Daniel. Alina could tell from the way of knocking—firm, three times, with measured intervals. She didn't move from the bed, staring at the wall with empty eyes. Another knock, accompanied by a call. "Alina." Daniel's voice muted through the thick wooden door, but still commanding. Still expecting compliance. "I know you're not sleeping. Open the door."

I was ready by 6:45 but I kept checking myself in the mirror every five minutes. At exactly 7pm, I heard a knock on the door and my heart nearly jumped out of my chest. When I opened it, Daniel stood there in a nice button-up shirt and dark jeans. He looked good. His eyes widened when he saw me but he didn't say anything. I immediately panicked. “You don't like it do you?.... I knew I did too much, I shouldn't have–” “And here I thought you couldn't be anymore prettier” He whispered.
