It made me so angry. I found his apartment number. My finger shook as I pressed the doorbell. I heard a chime inside. A man opened the door. It was him. **Daniel**. He looked surprised. His eyes were dark, like Mom’s. But his face was hard. He looked older than 26 in that moment. Taller than I thought. More serious.A

A tear rolled down my cheek as I recalled the memory. "You were not good for her. You never have been. All you've been to her is toxic," Daniel said, still looking Adam in the eye. Adam bent and picked the bat from the floor, sending it flying through the air as he hurled it towards Daniel. I covered my mouth as a scream erupted from it when I saw that the bat had missed Daniel only by inches.

“I’m glad.” He stretched a hand towards Seven with a smile. “I’m Daniel. Okonta Daniel.” They shook hands. “Nice to meet you, Daniel. Now would you mind explaining why you act like you are clueless and timid around him?” Daniel stiffened. “Around who?” “The Olalekan guy. You act like you are clueless and scared if him.” He smiled, readjusting his glasses. “That’s because I am.” “No, you’re not. Rather you are very much in control, almost as if you know something he doesn’t.”

I press her palm lightly and her eyes open instantly. "Did you feel the bang?" I ask still holding her palm. "Yes and my head hurts so bad now" she answers and I nod agreeing. Someone bangs on the door now "Was that the disturbance?" she asks knitting her eyes. "Who is it?" I ask aloud. "It's me!" Daniel speaks "Can I come in?" "Yes" I respond and we let go of our hands. "Yes?" I ask as he enters "You made me knock so many times" he says closing the door and turns to come inside "Oh, meatpie you're here too?" he asks looking at Jessica.

But there's an urgent matter that needs our attention pertaining to that gan –"

A loud and persistent knock permeated Becca’s sleep, three days after her confrontation with Dan. She ignored it at first, in the hopes that if she did so long enough, whoever was at the door would go away. No such thing happened though, as the person persisted in knocking until she finally had to stand up grudgingly and pad to the door to open it. She did not know anyone here and had no idea who it might be, but when she got there, she saw that it was Dan’s wife who was standing there with a sheepish smile on her face.

I gulped as I saw how nervous First is and how he tried his best to not move even an inch, afraid that Becky would really attack him. "Stop playing around now, Becka. He's now aware." Heine said and Becka looked at him before smiling. "I'm just making sure that this friend of yours will never try to get on my nerves ever again." and she slowly backed up and put the knife down with much finesse, no one would have thought that she almost used it to sniff off someone's eye. It was then I smiled before looking at the three guys. Hai seems to be proud and Jake looks amazed while First is still in shock.

Even though there were moments when she didn’t fully understand what he meant, because she still couldn’t completely grasp the kind of world Cale lived in, she still tried her best to respond to him. “For some reason, I feel like they’ve been waiting for the right moment,” Cale continued. “The second you make a mistake, that’s when they corner you like this.” Cale was just about to say something else when the sound of knocking came from the bedroom door. Knock. Knock. Cale frowned slightly, clearly irritated at being disturbed this late at night. “Come in.” The door slowly opened, and Daniel stepped inside with his head slightly lowered. “Sorry to disturb you, Mr. Cale.”

DANIEL’S POV. I had waited for a while before I knocked on the door. I knew she was on the call with someone and I didn’t want to disturb that, however, it was taking too long and I knew I had to enter already. At first, I had turned the knob of the door but when I noticed the door was locked from inside, I shook my head and then knocked. I was going to pay her back. Walking in on her while she walked out of the bathroom like before or while she was naked was going to be so fun but disappointment soon rushed me when the door was locked.
