Love In The Game

Love In The Game

said Leon. "Look at this," Leon said as he typed something on his keyboard. Suddenly an image appeared on the largest monitor screen. “There are still many monsters in The Myth that haven't appeared. While in The Myth, we only face a few monsters, right? The rest of it focuses on illusions, hallucinations, delusions, whatever," said Leon. The screen displays pictures of monsters in mythology. “Dragons, chimeras, fire birds, cerberos, there are many more that have yet to appear. Do you know why?" asked Leon.

Reborn from Ashes

Reborn from Ashes

"Look., As I said, I don't need to talk in riddles with you. I haven't been able to identify whether you’ve been reincarnated several times or whether you are a supernatural creature." "What Gáta means is that you could be something extinct... Like a Chimera, which is a creature made up of several others... In which case, you'd only die in one of the creatures, but you'd still be alive." Khalid explained further. "Let's say you're a Phoenix. When you die you'll be reborn from the ashes and the curse will continue. A Hydra starts from the idea of having several heads, but the texts hide the fact that this meant several souls as well. There are many other possibilities and mystical creatures.

AFTERGLOW | Feralis Series No. 1

"You did not just—okay, you weren't born in Luminozenko, so you don't know about this. It is an insult to call our Gods like Earth animals. In fact, we do not call magical creatures in our world animals but Magical Creatures. Hear me? Magical. Creatures. The word animal is for insults, okay?" I just nodded and let her continue her sermon. "And we call our Gods the Greater Arkamis. Yes, Faenice have wings, Levio and Lupos have ears and tails, and Sierpenti have a tail, fins, and gills—" "Hold on, fins and gills?!" I exclaimed. "Isn't he a Dragon? Isn't he supposed to have wings as well? Like, like the Manticore! The leathery wings! " Morris attempted to throw a crumpled cupcake paper cup from

The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

As I spin I stifle a scream. Making its way through the trees is something truly out of a myth. From top to bottom it is a mish-mash of creatures. Its twin heads are that of both a goat and a lion. The heads join at the shoulders to the body of a lion, all ending in a tail with a serpent's head. Growing up I was always interested in mythology. The name of the creature easily came to mind; Chimera. I try to back away slowly, hoping it hasn’t yet noticed me.But as per my usual clumsy self, I end up tripping over my own feet.

I saw it going up, my refuge, in a haze I lost it all, I lost it in an inferno, ablaze." "What do you think?" Aelanor looks at her companions. "It has to be some kind of bird, wings, plumage, feathers," Saayan offered. "Thunderbirds, Griffin, Adarna, there are so many." "Those are mythical creatures, Princess Saayan, they don't exist." Aelanor said. "They do, indeed, Princess," Pylaieus broke in. "What is myth in the human world is history in our world."

She tells me. “What do you mean?” I asked her. “Well, a three-headed snake is called a Hydra, but a Chimera is a fire-breathing creature with the head of a lion, the body of a goat and the tail of a snake. But I can see how you mixed up the two of them; they're both part of Greek mythology. But why did you ask about the Hydra? Don't tell me you saw one?” She asked me. “Not really.” I say, and then I wait until we are in the library before I explain I don't want to risk anyone hearing us.

“The Naga people do not eat snakes, but we are closely related. Among the snakes in the forest, there are some that we teach to become dragons if they have the potential.” Dragons? Zen felt that the game story writer had gone overboard with this floor’s lore for some reason. The snake with the potential to become a dragon belongs to Korean mythology. It was also known as the imoogi, although the Chinese have their own versions of snake demons. The Naga were a semi-divine race originating from India and known for their wisdom. On the other hand, the Lamia was a female demon from Greek legends that seduced men and devoured children. What was this mixed pot of snake-themed stories? Zen would ha

Another thing that catches Annaliese's eye is a very beautiful woman who has the lower body of a dragon and a scorpion tail with snakes around her ankles. "That's a campe", Kieran explains. "And that's a bungisngis, a kishi, cupid, adze, draugr". He continues to explain following her eyes as they take their seats. "Werebear?", she asks Kieran as she spots someone that looks like a bear. "Yep, that's a berserker and those are daimons". "Demons?" "No, Daimons are helpful spirit guides". "Wow, i didn't know there were so many supernatural creatures".

Redemption of The Dragon Prince

Redemption of The Dragon Prince

“The Hero Era is just a myth, a story to tell children. Hybrids are just mythical creatures.” “And so, once, were Kraken,” the Technician explained. “And Giants, and Fae. And yet in this world all exist. The Moon Dragons are called Elves, yes? Do you know that the term comes from human mythology? Giants, Kraken, and even Dragons are all mythological creatures. Our race, Gaietians, came from another world. Our biology wasn’t suited to this planet, so we pulled our forms, our final forms, from their stories. We became their myths, their monsters. But we couldn’t do that without studying them and…taking a bit of them into ourselves.”

Fear flashed across her eyes. Darryl frowned and asked, "What?" She rolled her eyes and glanced at Darryl, as if she was looking at a fool. "You didn’t even know what it is? And you’re the Nine Heaven Sage?" After thinking for a while, she continued, "After Pangu split open the universe, many enchanted beasts have been born in it. The most famous ones are the four enchanted beasts, Green Dragon, White Tiger, Red Sparrow and Black Tortoise. Although Kunmeng is not as famous as the four enchanted beasts, his is no weak beast."
