Fenriz and I have just returned to our hotel room after meeting with an Alpha who scared me half to death. On the way there, he explained that the Alpha and his Luna are both reincarnations of their Gods, but even knowing this didn’t prepare me enough. Good thing Fenriz has him as an ally; apparently, they’ll be able to help us tonight. Alpha Kai saw Ahmya’s cloak immediately, while Baron and Fenriz were still blind to it. I wonder if Kenji has something to do with it. Speaking of which…

Their skins turning pale, their bodies having sparse flesh atop its skeletal framework and veins turning black making them look more or like zombies. The remaining four had to find a cure for this ailment, "Black Death"; they called it, Kimora was created by them, it came with a price, killing everyone with dark matter and three of the elders died in the process, Kimora was so powerful it did the job but a little too well having a mind of its own the last Elder saw this as a threat had the Kimora gotten rid of and he vanished not to be seen again.

"This urn is from sister Keira, right? Green took the antique urn off the counter, the orchids in the front yard and back garden, that's sister Keira's favorite too, right?" Langit was about to open hos mouth, answer Green's questions. However, Green immediately cut off. "All pink color things that you gave me, I knew they were sister Keira's favorite color. By any chance, have you been seeing me as Keira all this time? I'm Green, brother. Not Keira " Cried Green in front of his face. When her patience ran out, she just blurted out the words in her head. Her breath was ebbing out of emotion.

She returned with a small vial filled with a green liquid. The doctor took it from her and examined it carefully. "Xeranti," he muttered, his face grim. "What is it?" Eden asked. "It's a rare and deadly poison," the doctor said. "It's hard to find a cure for it." Eden's heart sank. She knew that Kylian was in serious trouble. "What can we do?" she asked. "We need to find an antidote," the doctor said. "But that's easier said than done. Xeranti attacks the veins, weakening the victim and their wolf."

Light’s flickering, tendrils of black smoke unfurled from behind him, curling around the council members closest to him. They appeared in the underground atrium a second later, interrupting the elders who were chanting a prayer in unison. “Why did you bring us here?” Ronin spit. “We need Dr. Reynolds!” “He won’t be able to help us,” Nikolai stalked over to the hecatolite pool, getting in and floating Liora just near the water’s surface. “Luna’s been poisoned with a very rare, very old toxin called kneiom.” “Knee what?!” Lucien quipped, rolling up his pant legs and getting in the pool beside Nikolai. Thaddeus and Caius followed suit, wading in the water until they stood opposite.

The room was dim, with a single candle illuminating the best it could, and I saw something poking out from the layers of blue and white. I strode up to it cautiously and touched it, only for it to crinkle against my fingers and fall to the floor. It all came back to me now and I picked it up, my hands shaking, my nose filled with the smell of his perfume that seemed to come from the paper. “I will read it and throw it out,” I said under my breath, slowly unfolding the crisp quarters to see a contract. “Proposal for a Dominant and Submissive Relationship?” The candle flickered and I moved closer to the golden glow to see the letters better. Dominant? Submissive? Hard limits? Soft Limits?

*(Three Weeks Before the Alpha’s Death – Infirmary, Nightshade Territory)* Cole possessed a keen awareness of the world around him. It was this insight that enabled him to observe Kieran slipping into the healers' storage after midnight—long after the essential herbs had been carefully stored away. Moving with stealth among the glass vials, the Beta meticulously measured wolfsbane extract into a flask labeled *"For Pain Relief."* Yet, Cole understood that no remedy required such potent nightshade, unless the intent was to bring about silence without leaving a trace.

I thought She must have forgotten we were in the middle of nowhere and I was doing the best I could to seek help. I tried shifting but the pain of my body contorting stopped me yet again before I could complete the process. The after effects were worse, I grunted with the last bit of strength in me and fell to the ground, my vision turning into a black void of echoes. “Lena, Lena, wake up,” my wolf growled, but I was far too gone, far too weak to move a muscle, far too gone to even breathe.
