“Well, the Luna comes in different ways to different people, and I think you are one of the fortunate ones who have met her. What did she tell you?”
“The Luna? As in the Moon goddess?” If my eyes can detach, they will be out of their sockets by now.
“Yes, that Luna. What did she tell you?”
I follow a brown butterfly as it moves around the house and lands in a cup that’s in front of me, turning the milk brown. Ladia picks it up and gives it to me. “Chocolate milk,” she says, and I accept it.
“She told me that deaths will take place, a lot of it, and that I’m going to have to do something to stop people from dying, something like that,” I take a sip of the delicious beverage, and Ladia sighs.
