“You shouldn’t be doing this, Jenny. It’s not safe. And you know the consequences.” The girl shrugged. “I know, but no one’s going to catch me. I’m really careful. Plus, don’t you want to know more about the quest?” Lin would have scolded the girl and left if she was not dying to know more about the quest so she could win it. But she couldn’t. So she pushed her worry aside and closed the distance between her and Jenny. “Take my hand and know all that I know…” Jenny said in a breathy way before chanting a few words that were foreign to any language known to man.

Reyna- Everything in the world around me began to change as everything was caught inside a vortex of fire. One second, we were looking over the mystical forest and I had been mesmerized by it, then it erupted into flames. The fear that plagued me was so powerful that I took a step back. “It is okay.” Luka whispered as his arms wrapped around me. “This is just part of the quest. He came near her and looked at her closely. "So, is this your confidence for the Mate battle?” he asked with a taunting tone. Lucy's eyes go wide with surprise. She recognizes this voice and the scent. The aura is known. She raised her head to look at the person and immediately stand on her feet by bowing her head. After sometime, karen turned to face her and asked, “Why am i here?” “I thought you will never ask.” She was told and then the voice contunied, “I have a surprise for you, Luna Milburn.” She told her. “I hate surprises.” She mumbled. “I know and that’s why I won’t ask you to guess anything. Here they come.” She said and two little boys with an eldery man and a woman walked towards her.

Chapter 17: A Forbidden Mate The night pressed down like a velvet curtain, thick and expectant, as if the world itself held its breath for what was about to unfold. Lana moved like a phantom through the shadows, her black cloak swallowing her silhouette as she crossed the silent gardens behind the mansion. The chill of the predawn air bit into her skin, but she didn’t falter—not tonight. At the edge of the estate, a lone guard stood post, rigid and alert. His eyes narrowed when she approached. Without a word, Lana pulled a crimson jewel from her pocket—a gleaming, tear-shaped ruby—and held it out to him.

It’s all too confusing. "Mate!" Lana, her wolf, responds from within, her voice strong for the first time in a long while. Nana can feel the sudden surge of energy in Lana, a strength that’s been missing for so long. "Lana?" she whispers in her mind, her heart racing with confusion and fear. Before Lana can answer, the creature leaps off her. Nana turns to see it charging at five warriors who had arrived to help. It growls loudly, its movements savage and violent as it snaps the heads of the warriors in the blink of an eye.

Chapter One Hundred And Fifty Lana's eyes fluttered open and she immediately closed them as it seemed the sun was directly in front of them. She was feeling very lax, as though her limbs were made of water. She stretched luxuriously, wishing she would not leave the bed. Slowly, her hands reached out and she patted the other side of the bed and it came up empty. What the hell? She opened her eyes then and blinked at the sight before her eyes. She was on a bed... in Damien's room.

They were carrying strange weapons that weren't swords. Once inside the lights were blinding. I slowly opened my eyes to see my mate sitting on my father's throne. I felt my blood boil at the sight. He wasn't looking at me but I knew he felt my presence. The mate bond between Alpha and Luna is very strong. The people around were very curious some even excited to see me punished. I could see many familiar faces around me as well. Many were traitors to my father. I shouldn't hold it against them though. They did what they had to survive.

"Grace? Did you hear me?" I snapped back to the present, my mind still spinning with yet another question that I wasn't able to answer. "Sorry... uh...no. They don't have one." "Exactly.
