Novelas y relatos de Lanterns

We got to a door and he opened it. "Let go in." I nodded and followed him inside. "Wow," I gawked as I came to view countless lit lanterns hanging down the ceiling. Their lights illuminated the room so brightly. "What is this?" I asked as I looked around. There was a particular one whose light shinned brighter than the rest. "Each of these lanterns represents the soul of each pack member." "Soul?" I asked in fascination and he nodded. "This one is for Luna Mother. This is for Xena. This is Me and this ridiculously bright one is Akira's."

She is a slave, she’s weak, I can’t take her I need a strong mate. “ you’re my mate” her small sweet voice sounded like music to my ears, at that moment it took everything in me to stop myself from taking her in my hands, Leon wanted to hold her but no I can’t do this. I stepped back a bit and before I could stop myself I said. “ I, Ivan Parker, Alpha of the crescent moon pack, reject you as my mate and Luna”

June picked herself up and came back stronger; It was easier for June but Adonia; it was like walking on eggshells. "Oh, It's from my mom's design that's she is yet to launch. The L.A fashion Flashmob," Adonia replied proudly, and She watched Christabel nod her head in surprise. The L.A Fashion Flashmob was a big event for designers, and her mom had been winning back to back for the past five years.

Rose looked at the simple white lantern, noticing no difference, “Is there any different lanterns?” “There are ones in different colors but also those ones that are custom made. I heard there is also special ones for wishing, celebration, and all other different occasions.” Dominic then brought the lantern near her, “But this one is special. The one and only kind that you would never find again in this world.” Rose who was intrigued looked at the lantern again, “What’s the difference?”

Raw materials that are used for the lighting are scattered on the ground as people are still halfway in creating their lanterns. Different shades of Autumn are painted on the paper covering, while a family of three and four crowded together, ready for the lighting. “We all should be ready too,” Fish advised, as he strolled towards us with an orange and red lantern held by both of his hands. “Wow,” Luna exclaimed as soon as he reached us. She took the lantern from Fish’s hold, embracing it with her petite hands. The lights then slowly diminished, hinting to us that what we’re waiting for is going to start. When the lights from the posts and decorations ceased,

The library had a large map spread on a table over by the window where there was more light, even though the red glow from outside didn’t help illuminate the parchment drawing much. Slate lit several lanterns, including a low chandelier hanging from the ceiling. He would have to be careful not to hit his head on it as he leaned over the table, he was so tall, and it was so low over the map spread out for them to look at, but then, Nya had the feeling he had maneuvered in this position many times before. At her height, there was no risk of her hitting her head or catching her hair on fire from the multiple candles, the melted sides showing they’d been used for

The largest underground chamber had already been prepared and families were being led inside. Women held their children tightly. Some wolves whispered prayers to the Moon Goddess while others simply stared at the doors. Fear was everywhere. I understood it because I was afraid too but I couldn’t allow anyone to see it, not now. I walked from one shelter to another, checking the supplies. “Do we have enough water?” I asked. “Yes, Luna.” They answered. “Medicine?” I raised a brow. “Food?” “The medicine is In the infirmary and Agatha has the food under control.”

She decided it could be both and stepped into the light anyway. Up close, the flame wasn't ordinary fire at all — a cold, steady blue that didn't flicker the way oil or tallow would, burning inside a lantern of tarnished silver etched with the same crescent-and-pine sigil from the scroll. No one tended it. No one stood guard. It simply burned, patient, at the very end of a pier that saw no honest traffic after dark. "You came."

I said quietly. “Exactly like that,” Luciana said, and she didn’t look happy that she was right. She set the jar down and picked up the second one. The liquid inside was dark blue, and even in the bright light of the tent, I could see a faint glow at the edges. “The merchant called this lantern cap. It’s a mushroom that grows on rotting wood in caves. It shines a little in the dark, which is why the base toxin looked like it was glowing when you saw me pouring it.”

Years ago, a seer had told him a Luna would rise from his household—and that prophecy had made his confidence untouchable. The castle’s center suddenly brightened. I looked up just in time to see the full moon reveal itself overhead. I turned away, refusing to hope. I’d never expected to have a mate—if I ever bonded to anyone, I was sure he’d reject me… or hate me until it killed me. Then a wave of joyful gasps swept through the arena. I looked back and saw Alpha Damon standing beneath a beam of moonlight, as if the moon itself had chosen him. And then—light flared around me.
