Anders I sat in awe, watching Harley kicked Caroline out of the office. While I wasn’t directly impacted by Harley’s command, I couldn’t ignore the fact that her command held strength. It wasn’t an Alpha command, but it definitely had some power to it. I looked up at my Beta, who could clearly feel the force behind the command. Brett was also in the room, as was Mark, and I could see that all of them could feel the tone in Harley’s voice.

Rasmus lightly shook his head in negative. "You think you'll get a..away after killing me?" Richard spoke with difficulty as he wheezed for air. Rasmus paid no heed to him. His sole attention was on Catherine. "You're giving him an easy death. I have prepared something special for him." Rasmus said as his eyes darted towards the other door which opened and a huge guy emerged out of it. He was a black guy. Tall and all muscular. He looked scary with a scar running from his eyebrow to his jaw.

“Forgive me. Alpha Lorenzo D’Amaris. But I choose to go by Mr. D’Amaris when it is amongst humans.” The name didn’t ring a bell, though something about it made my wolf stir uneasily. “Mr. D’Amaris,” I said carefully, returning his smile. “And what brings you here? I was told that you were interested in an investment proposal.” “I heard of your plans for a new independent firm,” he said, his gaze sharp but warm enough to disarm. “A bold vision, Luna. I admire that. I’d like to be your first investor, if you’ll have me. Given that I am not from your council, I believe that having something of your own should give you a bit of an advantage.”

I nodded. “Thank you for that. Have you found out anything yet?” He shook his head. “No, Felix and Cornelius have been working on it.” I looked at him confused. “Why are they working on it?” He looked over at Lynn and she nodded at him. “Jensen, Cornelius is the Don of the Roman mafia. He is the reason why we were able to save you.”

He placed his hand around Maximo’s shoulder and a look of pride flashed his face. “ Brianna, this is my son. He is the man your friend was going to marry. “ He introduced. Looking at him at that moment, I knew Lily would have loved him. Lorenzo didn’t hold a candle to how handsome the man was. Since he had been raised by Romano, I knew he was a gentleman. He was much better than Lorenzo would ever dream of becoming. “ Nice to meet you, Romano Jr, “ I said but I noticed that his eyes were raking up and down my body. Brian's POV. I have lost count since Wilson had injured my Millie and had vanished. But as far as I could tell hew as no where near the castle. And I was running low on human meat. I needed more. This was not particularly so suspicious had Lars didn't see something he wasn't meant to see a month prior. Since then, Lars had been deeply invested spying on his neighbor, Mr. Magnus Musgrave. Although, he was not just a mere neighbor as he was a cherished family friend. Lars and Len's mother, Alicia Sykes, even had repeatedly expressed her gratitude for having him around to help them get through everything.
