The chuckle turns into a laugh and pretends to wipe a tear from his eye. Levi doesn't fault, she stays still. He latched onto Levi's shirt with all his strength, shrieking in delight. "Ah! I just cleaned you!" Levi whined in a voice that was several octaves too high to be real. I stood in the doorway, stunned. Then I burst out laughing. "What are you doing?" Levi flinched like he'd been caught stealing. He spun around, eyes wide, face flushed. "He likes your voice," he muttered like it was a confession. "So I was trying to... imitate it." My mouth dropped open. That— that—was the most ridiculous thing I'd ever heard.
