Chapter 15 Moving on GRACE’S HOME, BEVERLY HILLS. Leo drove through the fancy streets of Beverly Hills lost in his thoughts. If he wasn't too cautious he would have probably rammed into a tree because of how far his mind was. All through the night he couldn't sleep. One of the reasons why he had chosen to visit his mother the moment he got up from the bed.

Cynthia looked at the woman standing not far away from her, she was beautiful, but, she didn't admire her anymore like she did that day when she had just arrived. Beverly was getting furious, she wanted to show everyone how Cynthia wasn't deserving of a spot at V&M but the silly girl failed to take the bait. She wanted to continue provoking her when Cynthia who had had a blank look on her face suddenly brightened up and ran towards her. As Beverly contemplated tripping Cynthia, she ran passed her shouting "Aunt Legs" then fell into her arms. Valerie was stunned, the people around them opened their mouths in disbelief, they knew Valerie's strictness and even Beverly dared not act coquettishly

Once inside the mall, she began shopping impulsively. Summer was approaching, so she picked out some sportswear for Esther and Harold. After about an hour of shopping, she left the mall.

She padded out of the room, silent as sin. The estate was quiet. The kind of quiet that made you believe things watched from the shadows. And maybe they did. Damian never let her into the west wing. But tonight, that was exactly where she was going. The library was two stories of decadence and secrets. Velvet drapes, golden sconces, and hundreds of books—most unread, but a few with spines cracked like they’d been opened recently. She swiftly reached out into her side bag, where she had left the phone before leaving the doctor's office earlier. Lilian unlocked the screen and noticed a text from an unknown number and it read...
