It was from one of the most popular chocolate brands in the country. She had never had one before but she had seen their advertisments countless time on air. All the people who had them looked really happy and so, she imagined she would be happy too. Sophia smiled as she remembered one time back at home when she and her father were walking down the store and she mentioned that she had wanted the chocolate, her father hushed her.

She gestured vaguely toward the window where the SUV had vanished. “Especially now,” I smirked, leaning forward with mock seriousness. “Life’s too short for bad pancake opinions. Blueberry brings that perfect tartness, balances the sweetness. Chocolate chips are just desserts pretending to be breakfast.” She laughed, sounded so genuine, cutting through the lingering tension like sunlight through clouds. “You’re wrong, and I feel sorry for you. Chocolate chips are comforting in every bite. Melty, gooey, pure joy. Blueberries are just what people on a diet eat.”

Lisa asked me and I shook my head. “I would describe it as bittersweet, I have these memories that sometimes bring me pain and sometimes joy. They remind me that I have loved and I have lived,” I said and then sighed. “Is that what life is all about? It’s all about living and loving without any regrets,” I added. “You sound like someone who is very emotional mature,” she said and I just shrugged. “Sometimes life forces us to do, there is a quote that I love, do you want to hear it?” I asked her and she nodded at this.

Let me tell you, people. Food is life...let me not even get started on chocolate. I believe that chocolate is a gift sent to women by God. There's absolutely nothing like it in this world and I am addicted to it. With these food-filled thoughts rushing in my brain I made my way to the kitchen where I found a very silent Christina. Christina being quiet is like asking for rain in the Sahara desert it rarely happens and you never know when to expect it. She's always so lively and full of life so seeing her like this is very depressing.
