Ashley says, and I stare at the cover, the book, I can't wait to get lost in it. "This one is In Another Life, two realities playing out of a woman's life. The book follows the life of a woman, in alternating realities, how one choice can change the arch of our lives, who we are, who will be. This book is for people like me who have always felt the need to know if there's another universe, anotrher reality, and who we are there." She says, handing me the book. "After I Do, this is a masterpiece, one of my favorite books by her. It shows the problems in marriage, how everything is not happily ever after, hoe marriage takes work, and I'm not ashamed to say I'm reading it for the fifth time."

“So your big plan is… what? More chaos?” “I’d call it structured chaos,” I corrected. “Keeps life interesting.” She shook her head. “We just survived hell, Rain. Maybe let us breathe before you start planning our next disaster.” I sighed dramatically. “Fine, fine. We’ll breathe. But just know I’m coming up with ideas.” “Terrifying,” Jesse muttered. I shot him finger guns. “You love it.” I stretched my arms behind my head and grinned. “You know, I think I should start writing a book.”

My heart was fuzzy and my brain was giving me hopes that I can’t hope for. “This deal we have,” he continued, “I want it gone. Dear Reader Thank you for reading the first chapter of the book called, My Perfect Mess. My Perfect Mess was originally written as an Interactive Story Game. I am in the process of adapting it into a novel form. The original version contains a great deal of dialogue to fit the platform for which it was intended. To my neighbors , I must look like a nut job – but I did not care as this was the best morning I have had in a long time.
