Tonight, for the first time, my interest in taking her was overshadowed by something else: fascination. Lily just stood there, breathing heavily, her fists clenched at her sides. She looked like she was fighting herself, like her body had betrayed her on instinct. "Where did you learn that?" Why did I remember the sensation I got when reading it and why, of all the books I had read, did I have to enter this one? While I was reading the book, I had thought of Lily as a pitiful person but I had read books that described abuse explicitly. Lily’s story started when she was in college so the author skipped the parts where they would normally show her slaving away for the pack and getting cursed at and beaten. Because of this, she was not a heroine that stood out to me. I was just eager to read the book because I had to see how love conquered all in the story.

Something she wanted to share only with the man she loved. She had asked Marco to get her a book and Marco, who was understanding enough, brought her a new-age young adult novel, which had a lot of cute romantic moments. It took Marco some time to find a book that was fun and nice and not something depressing. With one g****e search and asking the teens in the bookstore which one was the best, he settled with the upside of falling. But Lise hadn’t even moved from the first page. She just sat out, looking beyond the gates.

“I would do it again. Every lie I told, every secret I kept—I’d bury them all if it meant keeping you with me. I came early for that” said Jisung smiling. “That’s great. I also do that sometimes. I am crazy for reading.” said Lily with a smile. “You are?? Oh My! Me too!!! And this time one book caught my attention. I really like this book ‘Centuries Apart But Still With You’. It’s really interesting. Modern girls travelling to old era. Gives different kind of vibe, don’t you think?” asked Jisung in an excited tone.

She rubbed her eyes in denial trying to make sense of the situation "You can hear my voice 'cause your hair brought me to life." It was between the tons of books, and just like every other thing in the room, it had a black color. She placed the book on the table and looked from the book to Lily. He just followed her but was hidden by a bookshelf next to the one she was checking out. She found the Native American history book and took it out of the shelf. She looked up at the other shelves if she could find some more interesting books when she found the book of “Zalmoxis.” She took it and she blinked when her heart started to pound so hard and so fast. She felt the book vibrated at her touch. She ran her tongue across her lips and looked for a table where she could sit down and scan it. She skimmed its pages while Kent followed her with a bouquet of flowers hidden behind his back. He smiled and stretched out his hand with the flowers near Elise’s face.
