“That seems random, Mother,” I mutter, wondering if she’s trying to trip Elena up already. She rolls her eyes at me. “We have to startsomewhere, don’t we?” Elena’s cheeks flush, her lips parting slightly. It’s clear she’s never heard of the classic Italian film, which is surprising considering she’s an actress. Then again, maybe her tastes are more recent than nineteen-sixty. “I think they’re way better than Dolce & Gabbana,” she says.

He winked at me. The boyish grin on his face was worth seeing.Who can say a grown up thirty one year old man behaves like a fifth grade boy. He is like this only with you.The teenger girl's spirit commented shyly. "You didn't let me complete Mia Piccola.So I am saying that the village is where you can come close to the roots of what is Italy,the soul of the nation rests in there and there will no no cameras to spy upon us.Moral of the story is our trip will be scandal free."He grinned ear to ear.

“But I insisted him to leave. You needed some rest, after the N*****x marathon we did.” “Yes..” She said, sighing. She walked to the gallery and looked outside. “Lunch at 2?” I called out for her, before entering the bathroom. “At Little Italy.” She reminded me. *** We reached Little Italy at 2 pm. A huge board was hung near the entrance of the area, with Little Italy written on it in a colour close to ocean blue. As we walked into the throng of people, we realized we have indeed come here for ethnic festivities. Apparently, residents of Little Italy were Italian Americans, who lived here years ago. Now it largely comprises of few restaurants and stores.

“Okay, I need to tell you…about updating the bucket list!” Lucas groaned. “You’ve been adding more things, haven’t you?” Jamie laughed, opening his notebook, sun glinting off the pages. “Oh, just the essentials: one-night stand, clubbing, getting drunk, yacht adventures… you know, classic Italy stuff!” Lucas blinked, eyes widening slightly. “One… night stand? You… really wrote that? I thought you were joking.” Jamie shrugged, playful grin spreading across his freckled face. “Hey, it’s Italy! If we’re going to go big, we go big. I wanna have a summer fling like in the movies.”

I’d muttered. Zane had smiled. His fingers had pressed into my thigh, a quiet message: look, they’re fine. The breath I hadn’t realized I’d been holding had slipped out, slow. “You two already causing chaos in Italy?” I’d asked. Zoe had shaken her head hard. “We’re good,” she’d insisted. “We only chased chickens a little. And Nonna only yelled a little. And Nonno only said a little ‘mamma mia.’” This family’s definition of “a little” had stayed flexible.

I tell him and he seems to think for a moment before shaking his head. “Never heard of it.” He says, going back to his computer. “You wouldn’t have. It is in the middle of no where Italy with a very small population. The perfect place to find some piece and quiet and to get my mind on the right track again.” I explain. It really is a small town, but it is beautiful and reminds me of the small towns you see in romance movies where the main character goes through on a trip and then decides to never leave again. It is perfect for my first trip out of this Country that I haven’t left once in the thirty years I have been alive.

They ogle the unusual marks, but no one says anything about how different they are. Dinner takes a little while thanks to everyone’s excitement, but we eventually get the opportunity to slip away and go to the club. “I love that no one said a thing about the way their Luna is dressed,” Felix says as we get into the car. “They know better,” Adonis remarks. “It is far better than what Aubrey wore the first time he went to the club. My Little Kitten will only be wearing that little dress for private moments with me from here on out.”

Twaine's Point of View : I'm still restless because of what happened recently. Did Kyle see my naked body? "God! No!" I suddenly shouted here in my room. I hate those cockroaches, they ruined me. Why did I grow up afraid of just a little cockroach? Ugh! Kyle then saw my body. Yes, we're married, but even so! He shouldn’t have seen me naked. I am Twaine Isabelle Montenegro-Mendez, the little wife of Kyle. I am 17 years old and a 2nd-year college student.

If it was a competition, he didn’t stand a chance. “Oh,” Sabrina said softly, her voice tinged with realization over something Denzel said. She covered the phone’s receiver and turned to me on the bed. “What was the film about?” she asked, a hint of panic in her voice. “I don’t know,” I said lazily, still sprawled on the bed. It was a horror story with a romance subplot. I didn’t tell Sabrina that. Sabrina looked away, a little panicky. “I’m sorry, Denzel,” Sabrina said into the phone after uncovering it. “I honestly wasn’t watching. My life’s been a mess.”

Our guests, if they ever came here, would love it. The cinema was empty except for us. I chose not to overthink it. It wouldn’t be surprising to know Waylen had something to do with that. The movie took time to start, and when it finally did, I understood why it was only the two of us. “It’s in Italian,” I murmured.
