The day that happens, I’ll jump off a cliff. Just call me by my name.” He hummed, pretending to think. “Nah, they fit you better. Shorty” he smirked. “Oh, really?” I leaned back, crossing my arms. “Then I guess I’ll call you Ego head from now on. That’s for when you talk too much. And Hockman…for when you call me by my surname.”

"Come on, Nikki, every girl usually has like 15 friends, and you're telling me you've got only two?" he debated. I arched an eyebrow at his audacity. "What?" he asked, sounding a bit defensive. "Nikki? Seriously?" I couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah, I thought of giving you a unique nickname that no one's used before, so I tweaked 'Nika' to 'Nikki.' You don't like it?" His smile faded a bit.

"Wait. I've told you my nicknames. What are yours?" Since I've shared my nicknames, both flattering and not-so-flattering I guess it was only fair he told me his in return. A chuckle escaped him and I hate to admit that it was starting to grow on me. His chuckle, not the person behind it to be clear! I would never ever admit to liking a hockey player. "Well, you already guessed the one people use mostly. That would be: asshole. But those who know me and consider me to be their friend call me Nath or Niel. Whichever part of my name sticks with them. And I don't mind either way."

It stuck,” Chase says, punching Zach in the arm and laughing.

We got to a scene where the main character and his friends were choosing nicknames for themselves. I giggled at some of the funny nicknames and turned to Hollis, "Did you ever have a nickname?" He laughed and nodded. "While I was in high school. It was such a funny name." "Tell me." I urged him. "Tiny." He said and I laughed. "What?"

There was always this phrase about ‘when puberty hits you hard,’ and it could apply to Nickos too. But as long as he was healthy and without any signs of sickness—his height would not matter to me. That was the most important thing. “Hey, little pumpkin! Why are you still awake?” I whispered. I also motioned him to lower his voice before he responded to me. “Ssh, Mom and Dad are already sleeping.” He would always be my little pumpkin every time I was not calling him by his nickname. Nickos came from Nickolai, and I was the one who named him. It meant people’s victory. He was our family’s little victory, and this home would definitely lose its life without him.

merrissa chipped in and Nicki signed. " thanks to you all, and I will really miss you guys" Nicki said and hugged them. " I will miss you fairy" merrissa said " I will miss you mermaid" Naina said also " and I will also miss you my bestie and my roomie, the only gangster in LSH" silver said dramatically and Nicki slapped her arm. ASHLEY. I listened to Nick's friend talk about a childhood story. One that had my boss giving him murderous glance across the table. I didn't understand the lingo. "Oh, um Pastey or PIE or 22/7 are really just Nick names. Pastey means Pastor but with kinda like a swagged up pzazz. Then PIE, his initials. 22/7 is the formula for pie in mathematics." He said and laughed. "Oh I get it so just a fun friendly way of addressing your pastor then," I smiled. He nodded "Yeah. What is your name?" He asked. "Femi Akinjola." I said, "Oh. Okay I know you. I was trying to place your face. Your fame is the kind that people go on Big brother to get." He said. I never knew a church kid would be talking about big brother in church.

"You!" Tom Clarkson grinned brazenly. "My nickname is the notorious playboy. I always get my hands on those women that I have set my eyes on whether theyre socialities or virgins. And you are no different!"
