Lola Rose Sheen 2023 Novels & Stories

I asked cautiously but they both burst out laughing, making me more wary than I was already. Lola stood up and gave Mom a kiss on both of her cheeks. “I'll see you when we get back, Rose. You take care of yourself while I'm out and you can always call me if you need anything”, she said before adding, “I'll appreciate it if you don't call me while I'm out today though”, she said and mom laughed at her before shaking her head. “Go out and have fun, my babies”, Mom said. “Don't worry about me and make the most of today”, she said before shooing us out of the house.

I prayed it wouldn’t be a year until Mum spoke to me and Julian, but I wasn’t feeling all that optimistic. Lola didn’t push or pry or anything, just sat next to me, unassuming as she switched on her laptop. The backdrop on her screen was incredible. Vivid colours and flowers intertwined with her name in the middle in italics. I looked at her afresh, and she was quite a character. She had three different piercings in her ears, and her braid had a yellow ribbon at the bottom. She was cool, in a purple sweater, and her glasses suited her, with their thick black frames. “I’m really pleased to meet you,” I said to her again. “Honestly, thanks for coming over.”

My anger immediately switched over to shock when I saw who it was. Right before me was the dumb woman who had kissed me on my wedding day. She stood before me, smiling seductively while twirling a lock of her hair with her other hand. I yanked my arm out of her hold then took a step back to create space between us. “What are you doing here, Lola?” I eyed her. “Are you stalking me?” Lola giggled. “Maybe… To answer your question, I am here to entertain you. I know that girlie of yours is doing a bad job. So… I came to make you have the best honeymoon ever.”

Then her hand lightly brushed my back, and the movement was so gentle that it was accompanied by a murmur. “It doesn’t matter, Miss Emily. If you encounter anything unpleasant, you can let me know. I will be your most loyal friend,"Lola said. “Or if you feel unwell, I can call a doctor for you!” “No, thank you. I’m fine!” I looked up at last, and dried my eyes with my hands. I drew a deep breath and turned to look at Lola. She was a young woman, with brown curls, and wore a yellow embroidered court dress. Her round white face had a gentle, amiable smile, and her blue eyes were bright and sparkling like pure diamonds, without any impurities.

Just asleep', my head snapped up. My sight falling on a beautiful dark-haired woman. She wore a white dress that glowed a soft essence. 'The moon goddess', I whispered to myself. ' Yes. But, you can call me Lola. It's cute, don't you think?', she jittered excitedly. 'Absolutely', I smiled. I looked back down at Liam. He stroked my hair, lovingly as he held my limp body.
