This guy must really have a death wish. It's better that he took the story teller with him. Who knows someone from his troops might betray him? "But I'm not used to riding horses!" the story teller reckoned, problematic as he had been ever since he laid eyes on the horse. He thought a prince would ride a carriage or wagon or something comfortable. Then maybe at least he could curl in a corner next to him. He was a Hanoverian horse that was black with no other spot in sight. It made her name funny. He was good natured, beautiful and a competitive animal. I liked him well enough even though he lacked the cruelty of an Arabian horse. Apples knew he was a beauty and he carried himself as such. I kept brushing Apples until I heard a sound behind me and turned around.
