He could tell which of the books were missing by just looking at the rest on the rack. “You read it?” There's suspicion in his tone.

I flipped through the pages and sniffed it. Wow. 'See you smiling at the sight of books. Geez' I did not turn to look at him. 'You don't know the priceless gems you have here. These books are out of print. You'd better keep them safe.' He did not reply and I returned the book to the shelf. I glanced outside through his window and I was amazed at the sight from it. The sight of brown roofs. I smiled to myself before walking to the window, taking in the sight. When they called Ibadan, the city of brown roofs, they did not lie.
