Stealing His Brother's Girl
Jane says softly, not even looking up from Rowan as I retreat to my room.

Tuesday is somehow worse. Since we're both off work, Jane suggests we have a girls' day. Mani-pedis and brunch, her treat. I can't think of a valid excuse to refuse, so I spend four hours sitting across from her at a nail salon, nodding along as she talks about places she's visited and how lucky she is to have found Rowan.
"He's just so good, you know?" Jane says, admiring her freshly painted nails. She chose a soft pink that matches her skin tone perfectly. "So genuinely kind. Not just on the surface, but deep down. I've dated a lot of guys, and none of them compare."
