In Search for Her
I wandered through the village, trying to escape the sudden wave of nostalgia and longing.
I found myself in a quaint garden behind a cozy cottage. The vibrant flowers and neatly trimmed hedges painted a picture of tranquility. A young woman was tending to the garden, her movements fluid and graceful. As I approached, the woman looked up, and the resemblance to Lea was startling.
My heart skipped a beat. “Lea?” I whispered, unsure if my eyes were deceiving me.
The woman froze, her eyes widening with recognition. “Edward?”
I took a step closer, my emotions a tumultuous blend of hope and trepidation. “It’s been years. I thought you were lost to me forever.”
