Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

A cold thought slid through me: If I lost my name, would the game still know what to call me? “No,” the older woman whispered. “No, no, no—” “This is what I mean,” Corvin said, his voice low and tight. “Every win here has teeth. If you gamble, assume you’re paying with something you don’t understand until it’s gone.” The boy—*the* boy, because that was all he had now—shook his head in little jerks, as if that would dislodge the missing thing. “I can’t— I had a—”

A SECOND CHANCE FOR BULLIED LUNA

A SECOND CHANCE FOR BULLIED LUNA

As one, we all look towards it and nod “The white marble represents no war, no bloodshed, peace. The red marble, well, war, blood, chaos. We are all to pick one marble from the pouch and place it in the box. We have heard both or should I say, the three sides. Please, make your choice. I will go first.” He gets up, carrying his pouch as he walks towards the box, and in the silence that fills the room, we hear the marble drop into the box. Then as one, we begin making our choices.

Enjoyable read, never once was tempted to skip to the end chapters and read it all the way through. Author has a definite talent despite some grammatical and language errors. Although, the description is a bit misleading as the dialogue snippet never happened in the story.

interesting, some twists and turns that make it atractive enough to want to follow the story. but what i loved the most were the way it made me laugh and the beautiful characters. as i kept reading it i actually could see the plot unfolding. thank you so much!

FILTHY ETHNICS: THE PROFESSOR'S OBSESSION

FILTHY ETHNICS: THE PROFESSOR'S OBSESSION

The room went silent except for that. Then Marcus laughed from the floor, blood on his lip. "Too late," he wheezed. "It’s already uploading." My world tilted. And in that frozen second, I realized: I’d just lost everything.

30 Days With My Mean Senior

30 Days With My Mean Senior

Conversations fade as attention narrows. And then— I lose. It happens in a single moment. A mistake in my thinking. The last card was played, and the result was clear before anyone said it. Adrian leaned back slowly, a satisfied smile forming at the corner of his mouth. “Well,” he said softly, “that’s unexpected.” There’s a pause. Not long. But long enough to sink in. I put my cards down without showing any feeling. Losing isn’t new. But it’s rare. And here, rarity makes it important.

Lost in madness

Lost in madness

But in my mother's eyes, I'm still the stubborn little girl who refuses to do what she's told. "My dear, hurry up and marry," Auntie Ngozi continues, patting my arm like I'm a child. "A husband is a woman's glory. Forget all this new generation nonsense – it won't take you anywhere." I want to scream. I want to tell them that I don't need a man to complete me, that I'm perfectly happy on my own. I want to explain that marriage isn't some magical cure for loneliness, that sometimes being alone is better than being with the wrong person.

My Tenant is a Mafia Prince

I heard Dem replied after locking the door behind me. Sticks and marbles. Who would have thought that two childhood games could traumatize a lot of people now?

Beneath His Rules

Beneath His Rules

"I was just thinking about how strange it is to be happy and sad at the same time. I like it here and I feel safe but I still miss the things I lost. Do you think that ever goes away?" Marcus walked over to the edge of the overlook and he looked out at the valley for a minute before he answered me. "I don't think it goes away entirely. I think you just get used to carrying it. It is like a backpack that feels very heavy at first but then your muscles get stronger and you learn how to walk with it. One day you will wake up and you will realize that you haven't thought about the weight for a whole hour."

Unbreakable Love: His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Unbreakable Love: His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Every day, Malcolm had to study at 10:00 pm. Marlene did not want Malcolm to lose to anyone else in anything. When Malcolm went off to have dinner, Zayden entered the room, looking defeated and pale. "Darling, why are you home early today?" she asked. He slumped on the couch and massaged his head with a look of defeat. "Marlene, I'm done for." "What does that mean?" "I put in all my money, and I lost everything," he explained. Marlene's mind immediately went blank. "I thought you said that things would be alright after we threw in more money."

Lesley Harte–"Dear Ex-wife, Back My Son" (Anika Carey&Joshua Conan)=Beanie Gold–"Unbreakable Love: His Passion For Her Transcends Death" (Yvette Snyder&Xavier Lane) Same story but different titles and authors. Which one's the original? Anyway they are just the same.
LesleyHarte-d'orig
Are Beanie Gold and Liltingchamp translators of Lesley Harte's books? Or are these Lesley Harte's other names in different book apps? Maybe the book apps bought her books' rights, to post them into their platforms, but with different titles and authors instead of the original.

Winning the Lottery, Losing My Marriage

Winning the Lottery, Losing My Marriage

My parents had tears streaming down their faces, clutching Russell's pant legs and pounding the ground with their heads in desperation. "Russell, please… save Alicia! She's your daughter, I beg you!" But Russell only sneered in disgust. "That sickly Alicia—what's the difference between her and a worthless burden? I'd rather disown her than waste more money on that good-for-nothing. Let her die, just get it over with, and stop dragging me down!" He kicked my parents violently aside. "And you two old fossils? Stay out of my way, don't harass my parents or me. Get the hell out!"
