Lost Library Books Novels & Stories

I didn’t make it far, just up to an abandoned park, it’s where my car died, it wouldn’t start anymore but it was okay, that’s as far as I’m going from here. Lulu, my stuffed grey wolf with purple eyes was my one and only loyal friend, she was with me when I spent the six dollars, when I was too hungry and was ready to beg for food. She was also hidden in my backpack when I applied for the job in the local library, I always had a weak spot for the books and stories, when they took me I couldn’t be happier.

The only time he saw that gaze was when Lucas’s father engaged him to Lydia when they were 14. . . . “Goldfish, goldfish.” I said to myself as I scroll down through the library records. I had to sweet talk the prof just to get access to the library log files. I was looking for the book title under the “current books” column but I wasn’t able to find it, I already spent an hour looking for it. I opened the file named “discarded” and found no Goldfish except for a documentary. I was so focused on scanning the names of the titles that my eyes started to get strained. I was losing hope at that point.

"I saw the library, it's ridiculous." "Obviously not all the books, Mike." he scoff. "I went through the covers and I read a few who could have had something, but there was nothing. The lady in the library - Frida - she's still searching and will tell me if she finds anything." The main base has more books. Alexandra thought. Still, she knew they wouldn't find anything there. Alexandra has read majority of the books, and they were nothing compared to the amount they have in here. Adom also has many books...

“Section of imagination. What an odd name.” “What?” Silence. She must have her attention fully on the books in the shelves, thought Lucas. “Don’t take your time too long, we can come back later.” Irina showed herself at the aisle in between the standing shelves. “Where did you get all these books? Do your kingdom doesn’t have a library?” His answer came as she disappeared, back to the inner corner again. “We have. Actually, I stole those books from every library amongst the three kingdoms.” Reappearing on the same place, Irina showed with eyes that had turn wide looked at Lucas. “I married a thief.”

E L L E How did I only just discover that there was literally a huge library room full of books in this mansion. It was like living in a dream, where all you have to do is ask for something, and it would be done. The library had all sorts of books. Novels, short stories, history, biographies, self-help books, poetry, and many more. It was truly heaven. Mikhail was out to get some of our luggages that weren’t complete from the airport. Avery and Gio were in their bedroom.

"...our children never would." Adelaide’s gaze lingered on the blackened bindings, the stitched pages, the shelves scarred by fire. These were not marks of defeat. They were the evidence of defiance, proof that someone had chosen to deny the flames their victory. Arkael smiled quietly. "They've only begun coming home." He looked across the endless library with unmistakable affection. "Many of these books have spent centuries hidden beneath mountains, beneath homes, inside forgotten caverns and sealed vaults." His eyes lingered on the shelves as another librarian carefully positioned a restored manuscript in its proper place.

“They’ve scrubbed the house clean of anything that smells like the past.” Lira leaned against the bedpost, a devious glint in her eyes. “Well... the main library has the 'official' history books, which are probably ninety percent propaganda,” she said, shrugging one shoulder. “But if the books are useless, we go to the source. The living libraries.” I arched an eyebrow, my interest piqued. “The living libraries?”

With some effort, I managed to push it open, revealing an enormous underground chamber. My breath caught in my throat. The chamber was filled with rows upon rows of old books and scrolls—an ancient library dedicated to werewolf lore and magic. The walls were lined with shelves crammed with forgotten knowledge, and in the center of the room stood a large, intricately carved table covered in tomes and manuscripts. I approached the table, my eyes scanning the titles. Many of the books were written in old, nearly forgotten languages, but one tome caught my attention. It was bound in dark leather, the title barely legible: "The Lament of the Moon."

For answers that the Heartstone, the rift, and even Morwen’s confession hadn’t given me. So I returned to the library fully now. Not the main hall, but the far win,the abandoned shelves. The place where forgotten books gathered dust like old regrets. No one went there. Not even the librarians. It was said that the books there had nothing useful, only outdated theories, broken incantations, and failed experiments. But sometimes, the most dangerous truths hide in plain sight… or in plain neglect. That afternoon, I went to the library alone. I wasn't looking for any book in particular. I ran my fingers along the spines, listening to the silence and allowing it to guide me.

--- For the first time, they didn't have to solve anything. --- Save anything. --- Understanding nothing. --- They could simply be. --- In the afternoon, they sat in the library. --- Between the shelves. --- Where the years had once stood. --- Most of the books were still there. --- But one was missing. --- Just one. --- The book titled: --- Those Who Stayed --- It had vanished. --- Months ago. --- No one knew where it had gone. --- And somehow, that didn't bother anyone. --- For some stories wanted to wander on.
