Once he wakes up it's too hard to get to sleep again. He stood up, slipped a T-shirt on his frame and headed out of the room. The silence of the mansion was satisfying. He walked along the long hallway and went down the basement. The guard bowed to him in respect. "You can leave." Jonathan said to him and he bowed while walking away. Jonathan cracked the door open and got inside. The room was dark only one dim bulb hanging in the air illuminating the room. He walked farther to the one inside the basement. He went close to the figure and saw her sleeping. Lia looked so innocent while sleeping. Jonathan can see a 5-year-old Lia who often slept at his place while playing.

She set it in the center. She turned off the low yellow light above the stove. The kitchen was plunged into total darkness. She walked up to her quiet bedroom. She lay in the dark.
