Luca Ercole Novels & Stories

"But believe me, I didn't betray you. We can't undo the past, but we can shape the future if we work together." As his words continued to reverberate within the space, a transformation seemed to unfurl before me. Antonio's identity emerged, an intricate mosaic of lineage and legacy. His voice, infused with a potent mixture of authority and ancestral lineage, resonated like the echoes of a distant storm. He unveiled himself as Antonio Rico Luca, the descendant of Luca Osvaldo, a figure shrouded in the mystique of a Dark Angel of merciless Deaths. The weight of his lineage bore down upon his declaration, an assertion of power and consequence that sent ripples of apprehension through me.

Romero added. "What about the branding?" I asked. Vic nods and pulled up a picture of a branded skin. It was Luca Romano. The man who used to be the head of the Romano Mafia. After the last time that we retaliated against them, Luca was left heavily wounded. We never confirmed his death and he never showed up afterward either. My breath hitched as I realized that it was the same as Luke's. Luca Romano was the heir before his father. Romero looked over at me with concern in his eyes.

Bottles clinked as he poured two glasses of red. “Sit down. Let’s have a drink and talk like civilized men.” “That’s not what I asked.” My hands flexed at my sides. He slid one glass toward me anyway. “I work for no one,” he said, taking a slow sip. “I am Carlo De Luca. The only surviving son of Don Alessandro De Luca.” “What the hell does that have to do with me?” “Bruce owes me.” He took another sip, eyes locked on mine. “I’ve been hunting everyone who had a hand in killing my family. Bruce was one of them.”

She marched over and slid into the seat across from him. “Go straight to the point,” she said coldly, not bothering with pleasantries. The man leaned forward, keeping his voice low. “His name is Luca Ventresca. Top of his class in cyber security. Studied in Milan, later got advanced training in the U.S. Known for taking high-risk freelance work, but keeps a low profile. I found old forum posts under a few aliases—” “I know all that,” Isabella snapped, cutting him off. “I didn’t come here for a résumé. Does he have any connection to Natalie De Luca?”

Silence. Luca’s gaze locked onto hers. “Name.” Alicia’s chest heaved, tears streaming down her face. “Valentino. His name is Valentino Costa.” The room seemed to freeze. I felt Luca tense beside me. Rafael muttered a curse under his breath. Even Bianca’s stoic mask cracked for a split second. Valentino Costa. That name carried weight—powerful, dangerous. A ghost from the underworld. Someone who was supposed to be untouchable. If he was behind this…

JILLIAN “Who is Carina?” The doctor asked leaning a bit closer. “She is my proof,” I answered confidently. The doctor took his laptop of the bag he has with him and typed things on it. “What is her surname?” I realized I don’t know that I can’t answer. My stepmom’s smirk made me grin. “Suero,” Angelo whispered. “Suero,” I said smirking back to my stepmom. The doctor continued doing whatever he is doing and turn the laptop to me. There are arrays of pictures of woman with the same name on the screen. It’s an online site with tons of users. I pointed at her picture, so the doctor clicked on it.

he said. Selene’s eyes snapped toward him. “Luca.” “I said leave,” he replied, and the room went cold instantly. This time there was no softness left in his voice at all. This was not the exhausted man who held me during seizures. This was Luca Wolfe, mafia heir, future Don, a man used to being obeyed. Even Marco straightened slightly beside the door. Don Adriano looked between both of them carefully, clearly realizing something significant had shifted. Then finally he spoke calmly. “Selene.”

I'd slept late, reading through each and every word of the marriage contract. Twice. Everything seemed legit and it was a pretty good deal. All Luca wanted from me was loyalty to the mafia and to him so the whole image of the Martinelli familia wasn't destroyed. I didn't exactly care. I wasn't going to be with anyone any time soon. I pushed the door to his office open and I wasn't surprised to see they'd started planning without me. I just rolled my eyes and stood next to Maddox and listened to what Luca was saying. Something about finding a guy called Sante Di Laura. He was the head of the Vipers, the mafia that attacked but Sante was in hiding at the moment. Our tar

He had not paid attention on the bus, but he was looking now. "Avert your gaze, Omega!'" Don Marcelo said, finally seeing what was happening, "If it weren't for your benefactor, I would have had you flailed for being so bold," he chastised me. I bowed, pulled my hands away from the stranger's, and stepped back. "Don Luca, you seemed smitten by the omega," Don Marcelo said, and I could not believe I had finally heard his name. It wasn't Declan like in the dream. It was Luca.

If I wanted answers—real answers—I’d have to get close to Luca. Luca Del Vecchio. His name had been whispered in every corner of this city—the billionaire who threw extravagant charity galas by day and ran the city’s underworld by night. No one said it outright, of course. You didn’t accuse Luca of anything if you wanted to live to see the sunrise.
