"Good morning.” She greeted as she peeked on my male's cheek with so much affection. And I could feel my heart start to bleed as the male destined for me smiled down at the female and kissed her temple with his heart oozing adoration. My wolf was on her hind legs staring at the female through my eyes. She fisted her hair and knotted them in a bun and my eyes fell on the glorifying fresh mark on her neck. I return my eyes to the male standing in front of me. That is when I noticed the angry red mark on his neck. And I could feel my heart shatter into a million pieces. The moment I found out that there was another life growing inside me, I was scared, I was terrified. But the instant I knew it was his, I was on my way to find him, to reclaim him after all those years of waiting. But fate had other plans, and I suppose the Goddess loved making my life a living hell. He was supposed to choose me, he was meant to love me, he was born to be mine. He was my other half, my soul mate. But he bore another's mark…he was mated to another.  

"Do you love him?", He asked I again tried to speak but he cut me off. "YES or NO". I nodded in YES. I love him in a brotherly way. "I thought that you were different, but I forgot about your background. I had purchased you from the red-light area. Soon or later, whore like you would have surely shown their true color, isn't it?" He drily laughed. And then, held my arm harshly and started dragging me, god knows where? He didn't even care that I was in pain. I keep staring at his face. I can't believe the day which I always wanted to come i.e. when I will actually be free from this cage, will come. But I was not feeling about him. It made me feel that I had started loving this cage...He pushed me away, and two arms collected me before I could have fallen down. I know that it belongs to my brother. Struck by physical pain and mental shock, I could bear it no longer and fainted in his arms. I finally understood that the most intolerable thing in a relationship was cheating. Without trust, our relationship was so vulnerable!

At a gathering, I noticed that Jade Shaw, the woman that my best friend, Michael Ronan, had a crush on, slipped something into his drink. When she walked over and offered him the glass, I deliberately knocked it over, spilling the drugged wine and saving his life. She stormed off in anger. The very next day, she announced her engagement to someone else. Michael came to me in a rage, convinced that I had ruined things out of jealousy. "Taylor, if it weren't for your meddling, I would've already slept with her! She would've engaged with me instead! You just can't stand seeing me happy! You destroyed my love life! Michael was staring at Jade with a lovestruck expression. Then, he glared at me, warning me not to interfere. So, he had been reborn too.
