To hold a book in my hands that a previous version of myself may have written in should be exciting, but I have an awful feeling about it. Maybe there are things from our past in that book that we shouldn’t know, and that is why we haven’t had flashbacks like Cornelius’ group did. Maybe he read something in there that made him do the things he did. I’m not sure if that is something we should risk.

Eli and I worked in silence, sifting through the ancient texts and documents in hopes of finding something that would shed light on the dark force and its current activities. Hours passed, and fatigue began to set in. Just as I was about to give up, Eli’s voice broke the silence. “Lily, look at this.” He handed me an old, leather-bound book, its cover worn and faded. “This looks like it might be important.” I opened the book carefully, my eyes scanning the faded text. The pages detailed the history of the dark force, its rise, and its attempts to control the rogues. The descriptions were chilling, painting a picture of a malevolent entity with the power to corrupt and destroy.

I am including Ashina's Quest with Loner to Luna, so you will see two Epilogues under that title. They were in the original book together, so they will stay that way.
