I said and he took a swift turn to look at me before signalling with his hand asking who was back. “The rightful Luna of the Pack and betrothed to the Alpha Karl is back but the only thing is she has lost her memory and can’t remember anything, I even heard Alpha Karl call her Avery I guess it’s a name he gave to her to have an identity,” I said waiting for a reaction because we had somehow plotted and I had made sure to do the job of taking Naya Rose the supposed Luna out and so she wouldn’t ever come back but I was wrong I didn’t kill her.

*** Caleb POV (Kane’s brother) It is about time that we finally get away from Kane and his freaking mate. How can my brother even end up as a Luna of a pack? He is a guy. Well, he is an omega, but I never thought in a million years that he would be a Luna of a pack. Shoot. This is completely messed up. However, I’m still glad that he left our pack along with Ben and Ben’s family. We definitely don’t need anyone like them in our pack. They will just bring us down.

“Does he know about our kind? His brother?” “No. We have been following him for weeks now and it turned out Leonidas Maximilian does not have an idea of what his brother had turned into.” The man answered, swallowed, the continued. “He is also connected with the Luna Puer Wolves.” A brow rose, Blanco stared back at the picture. “How so?”

He sounded calm, like someone simply stating a fact and what he could casually accomplish. I couldn’t make sense of it. If I were crowned the Luna of the pack, I wouldn’t be able to leave until death. I looked at him, disappointment filling me, and replied hopelessly, “You should have just told me you weren’t interested in helping me instead of giving me so much hope, only to crush it like this. It hurts. It hurts even more than being betrayed by my family.” Chris looked at me, then chuckled before replying, “Why would I lie to you over something so simple? You won’t be crowned Luna. Just play along and leave the rest for me to handle. There’ll be a big surprise for everyone.”

I took a deep breath, plastered a graceful, flawless smile onto my face, and turned around slowly to face him. "What exactly do you mean by that question, Lucas?" I asked, tilting my head in mock confusion. "You are speaking to your Luna. Have you forgotten your manners?" Lucas did not flinch. He did not bow. He stood his ground, his eyes burning with a terrifying, absolute certainty. "I meant exactly what I said," Lucas stated, his voice dangerously quiet. "I know for a fact that you are not the Luna. You are not Evelyn."

With that knowledge she had given me, I made sure that Red Moon paid for what they had done, and thankfully I was able to stop them before any of the other Alphas in the region were affected by their implant of Lunas among them, giving them all a chance at finding their fated mates. A lot of things had changed within the pack since Dom and I became the new Alpha and Luna, and the first thing to go was contract unions, allowing pack members to also find their fated mates. Also, after becoming the Luna of the pack, I made sure to pay my sister’s mate a little visit, and put the fear of the Moon Goddess in him, letting him know that I would kill him if he ever laid a hand on her, or stepped out

How can everything become so different in just a day? I let out a heavy sigh, the moon goddess sure knows how to make a mess of everything she created. “Luna… I immediately interrupt her, “don’t call me Luna, Lucy. I am sure you already know that I have already signed the divorce papers. I am no longer married to your brother and I am no longer the luna of the pack” “You moved on so fast, Michelle” “I did?” I scoff as I take my fingers through my hair, “shouldn’t you be telling this to your brother? The one who brought his ex-girlfriend into our matrimonial home?”

I almost lost all memories of my adopted father who is their older brother and the late Alpha of the pack. My mood was finally lifted and I was glad. After Lily retired to her room for the night, I decided to scroll on the internet and I was bored by the things I saw. There wasn't really a lot of meals even in the werewolf circle. Except for news of me being the Luna of The Three Brothers which is impossible because we will be working up after a year. Tomorrow I'm going to find someone that can conceal the fact that we will be mates in the future.

I picked up my spoon and took in a small amount. It has a musky kind of taste with an occasional burst of egg. I smiled at aunt Tess, waiting for the story she was going to narrate . "Oh child, where do I begin." "How about this cool mansion." I burst out. " Well you see, this is the family mansion. We are Luna's." " Wait. You must be joking aunt Tess. My mother is a servant to the Rollins family back in New Jersey. We can't be Luna's." " Your mom didn't tell you,now did she?" Aunt Tess asked a rhetorical question.

“Luna?” A mother asked quickly. “Yeah?” I looked in the back. Her daughter was only around a year old and had a death grip on her mother. “Where are we going?” “You are going to Alpha Brian and Alpha Colt’s pack. My twin brother is Colt. It is the pack I grew up in. Penny is Colt’s mate. She will greet you there and move you all to a safe house where you will stay until we can guarantee your safety here.”
