Zevara's POV The columbarium was so silent. No one was in sight because the Alpha had asked that the place was kept reserved for our visitation. And now, with flowers in Talon and Alpha Magnus' hands, we stood in front of the niche that belonged to the late Luna. A stunning picture of her sitting on her throne chair, looking all powerful like she was still breathing. A small plate name that screamed her name, “Luna Cassandra Creed of the Moon Eclipse Pack. I feel like burying myself into the blanket and never coming out again. Trying to push myself up, I flinch at the pain still shooting through my body. It’s the same moment that Jax, including two other people, come barging into the room. A knock would have been nice, I think to myself as I shriek a little at the sudden entering. “Lie down,” Jax orders with a slight scowl on his face. “You’re not ready yet,” he adds a little softer. “I’m Trevor. Then the strangest thing happened, slowly the moon began to descend from the sky right before my eyes and as it did, it got small and smaller until finally, it came in through the open roof and went straight into the orb that was in the woman’s hand. The orb gave off a soft silvery glow at first before it exploded with a bright light that made me shield my eyes. The eye of the statue lit up too and then it spoke to me, “Javier, the first mate of the chosen one.” I still shielded my eyes until the light dimmed and I could see again, “Who the hell are you? What am I doing here?” “I am Lunar, the goddess of the moon and the mother of all werewolves, Lycans, and otherwise.”
