FERAL MOON: CLAIMED BY THE LYCAN KING
Moonlight poured in from above, cold and bright, bathing the space in silver.
Lyra’s skin tingled the moment she stepped into it.
The air hummed with ancient magic.
“This chamber strips away lies,” Maera said. “Blood will answer blood.”
Ares brushed his thumb along Lyra’s knuckles, a final grounding touch. “Stay with me,” he murmured.
“I am,” she whispered.
They stepped into the circle together.
The moment the stone sealed above them, the moonlight intensified.
Lyra gasped as sensation tore through her…heat, cold, memory, instinct. Images flooded her mind. A child crying. A forest burning. A woman chanting words she did not understand while silver light wrapped around her small body.
