Mogra's presence, unmistakable, closer and angrier than I had ever felt her. She wasn't here for the pack. She was here for him. I didn't decide to move. My body simply moved, faster than thought, faster than the eighteen years of training that had built me for exactly this moment and never once prepared me for which side of it I'd end up standing on. Kade was already fighting, claws out, blood already streaking his side, and Mogra bore down on him with a wave of shadow that would have taken his head off if I hadn't thrown myself between them, magic tearing out of me in a burst I didn't bother to contain.

Connor growled while pounding his fist into the wooden door, making it shake. “Leave… me..!” my voice cracked. They laughed. “Do you think we’ll leave you?” Connor mocked. “Come out, bitch! Don’t make us break this fucking door. Either you’re coming out or we’re going to break it down.” “If you want to see yourself tomorrow...you won’t be doing this..” I said, breathless. “Luther will kill you if you dare to….” My voice died in the air when the door flew open.

Eyes widening, I take in what he is showing me as the realization begins to truly hit that once we left this place, we would never be able to come back. “Then let me the fuck out and remove it,” I snap as the roaring of feet begins to make its way toward us. “I’m on it,” Migel announces, pulling a single key from his pocket. “Just give me a second.” Nodding, I watch as he quickly unlocks the door and then yanks it open so that I can step out and take in the wall of men that are making their way toward us. Keeping my gaze fixed on them, I begin to extend my claws and canines until they’re close enough, then I attack, shredding the first to reach me and moving onto the other.

I open my eyes and find myself staring at Megan's purple eyes directly . "There's nothing you can do Maddox ,the blood moon is here and you will be a beast forever without your mate or pack ," Her lips curve and an evil grin spreads on her face . "I won't let you do that !"I get up still feeling energetic as ever . "You won't do anything !"Megan laughs . She raises her two fingers up and lifts me up in the air. She lifts all her fingers and makes a tight fist. My throat is blocked as the suffocating pain becomes excruciating. I gasp and hold my neck fighting for air . Invisible hands continue to choke me .

He waved them over to me but luckily I dodged the attack before it could affect me. "We really don't need to do this, Sage." I muttered as I maintained my stand. I shut my eyes forcefully and tried to call out every ounce of power in me in order to fight back. I felt the radiation in my body. It made me realize the powers are coming up but... "Megan!" I heard a shriek behind me. I opened my eyes and I turned back to see Mrs Spears struggle for breath. I gasped in shock as I turned back towards Sage to see him controlling her breath with his hand.

He soared ahead to meet the attack. In an instant, a vicious battle broke out between Archfiend Antigonus, Master Magaera, and Grunt.
