Elise and the Scorpion King (Magical Journey Series Book 1)

Elise and the Scorpion King (Magical Journey Series Book 1)

Kent expressed his question without words. “Something’s saying here about a lake of fire that can only hurt the wicked,” Mazoi told Kent. “Hmm… that’s interesting,” Eric nodded and glanced at his close friend. Kent just smiled and nodded. Mazoi gave him an idea that he would actually do in the future. The Medjay read on and mumbled. “Serpent monster… mummified gods… jackal gods… snake within a shrine… masters of pits… I love this book now. You will become creative with your magic powers if you just know how to read.” Then he looked back and forth at Kent and Eric.

I Married My EX

I Married My EX

It was a treasure trove of Magdalene's history, a testament to a life intertwined with secrets and enigmas. In one corner, a weathered journal beckoned to Jette. Its pages held Magdalene's handwritten accounts of encounters with the mystical, dreams that transcended reality, and ancient rituals performed under the silver glow of the moon. The revelations within the journal hinted at a life steeped in magic and mystery. As Jette immersed herself in the tales penned by Magdalene, a realization dawned upon her—an understanding that Magdalene's sanctuary was not just a refuge for those seeking solace, but a haven built upon the intersection of the mundane and the magical.

Scald Crow

Scald Crow

Elphames opalescent eyes regard the news personality a bit of disdain, “What else? Humans happened.” Bernie knitted his thick eyebrows in confusion, “Forgive me, I don’t quite follow.” “When we left earth all those years ago magic was sealed away using a special book, the book Thoth. A human found the book and proceeded to decode it.” Elphame’s entire posture indicated boredom. “The archaeological world would’ve been set on its ear by such a book. Why is this the first time I am hearing of it?” Bernie took a sip of the coffee.

Mage of Wolves

Mage of Wolves

I’d wait until I had a chance to ask them. We walked down a long entryway with white and black marble tile on the floor and plenty of golden framed paintings on either side of us, each depicting a different scene from the history of mages and shifters, I supposed. The few that I recognized were only familiar to me because I used to read a lot of fairy tales. When I saw one of a woman wearing a red cloak, standing in the forest with a wolf at her side, I raised an eyebrow. “Ah, yes! A Nightingale,” Maggie said, stopping and folding her hands in front of her. “Isn’t it lovely?”

Very enjoyable. It's great that it's more of a polyamory than a man harem like a lot of recent books are. The characters personalities are well defined and do not stray or muddle into a bunch with the same attitude.
Christy Scott
I love this book and think the author is very talented. my only concern is the cost of reading the book is around 100 dollars. I wish it was broken up into two or even three books but it is worth the time if you want to spend that much on 1 book.

The Vampire and the Mage

The Vampire and the Mage

"As soon as we can awaken your mage blood, then your training will not be that hard for you since you were a trained fighter who had been through a lot." "Awaken my mage blood?" Lanver was confused. He didn't know if he could ever be accustomed to the terms used in this world. "Yes. Right now we can only feel your presence as a human. Princess Anna must have sealed it to hide you. However, your blood as a mage must be so strong that it could resist Princess Anna's spell, that's why there were times, as you've noticed, when something weird were happening to you." "Why would you know what was happening to me back there?"

All potions have its own distinctive tell. The color shows how potent it is. Lighter hues always indicate that the potion is used for trivial problems; such as a common cold, headaches, or a small bout of bad luck. If the color is more intense, those vials are often used for more serious concerns; such as plagues, restoring limbs, or removing curses. To the untrained eye, the color was nothing more than a decorative detail. Another way to appeal to non-magic users to sell and make money.

she said to me as she stepped out of the circle. Beyond her, I saw the smoke had completely enveloped Heather. With lightning speed, Sera sent a surge of magic at Gabe. It was so fast, I didn't have time to react and the magic hit him square in the chest. He sailed backward, landing in the bushes. At once, a thousand spiders were on him. I went to help, except Mizrabel appeared in front of me. "Hello, daughter," she said, her eyes glimmering with hatred.

The Magic Bean

Dike requested that he be in the middle of the line so that those behind him can hold him from falling out of their given path. Emeka’s mouth can clearly show some whitish stuff that is stained from the milk he just took. The milk is said to nullify the effect of spells and poisons and it was administered to Emeka so that he could recover from the effect of his earlier encounter in the land of ‘Don’t look up’. The impact on his health was nothing compared to the fact that he just became the first person to see the un-seeable and lived. His achievement may lead to a chieftaincy title as the first to see the un-seeable. The use of mirrors was also established as a means of seeing these strange

Marked by Monsters - Gravemire Academy Year 1

“Of course the magic prison school is a fucking vampire mansion.” My boots crunched on crushed white gravel as the magical cops, sorry, the “Arcane Order of Balance”, ushered me forward. I was still cuffed like a felon, soaked to the bone, and I couldn’t even remember my own damn name. I tried. Hard. My brain was like a TV stuck on static. No birthday. No parents. No first kiss. Just… panic. A blood moon. Lightning. Screaming. And a name I might have heard once. Is… something.

"Do you? Because once you walk that path, once you seek that kind of help, you can't come back from it. Even if you change your mind, even if you regret it, the fact that you were willing to do it will change who you are forever." "I'm already changed," I said quietly. "Watching them every day has already changed me into someone I don't recognize. At least this way, I'd be doing something about it instead of just suffering." Henrik nodded slowly, accepting that his warnings had fallen on ears too desperate to hear them. "Then I suppose you've already made your decision." "I suppose I have." He climbed onto his wagon, preparing to leave. "One more thing, child. Whatever you do, whatever happe
