MAGICAL

MAGICAL

Morgana explained with a sad smile on her face. I wondered why she looked sad despite the smile. Her smile didn't reach her eyes. "Who did this?" Sage asked with squinted eyes. "Cause I'm sure this isn't a thing back at the kingdom. This is related to black magic." He frowned. "Yeah, it isn't a thing in our world since it's a spell." Morgana shrugged. "But someone went extra miles to protect the people." "That must be Mila." Sage said. "She never grows up. The risk is huge." He complained.

Resisting The Alpha Cowboy

Resisting The Alpha Cowboy

Standing a few feet ahead of me, lazily chewing on some grass, was the most adorable cow I had ever seen in my life. Big, brown, and fuzzy, like a walking plushie with legs. Its shaggy hair flopped over its eyes, making it look less like a cow and more like some kind of farm-dwelling, four-legged golden retriever. I just stood there, staring. It blinked at me. I blinked back. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I was aware that I had places to be. That Colton was probably waiting for me by the river. That I had bigger things to worry about, like whether someone had knocked Darcy out with chloroform before torching the greenhouse.

Sisters: A Tale of Good & Evil

Sisters: A Tale of Good & Evil

“My concern is what will happen when she dries up.” “Or expires,” Sybil hissed. He shrugged. “There’s a high that comes from drinking that magically imbued milk. It isn’t just nutritious. It acts like a drug. I worry about the withdrawal factor. In fact, I wanted to speak with you about this. She’s magical. I can feel it even if she hasn’t displayed it. Do we need a magical person for milking? What if I provided you with mundanes to cast a milk spell on? I’d be willing to pay whatever price you asked.”

The Substitute Twin Bride

Rose replied casually. “Ha, ha, very funny.” Matteo scoffed, quickening his pace to walk beside her. “I’m curious, why are the cows here so big? Are they on steroids or something?” Rose remembered an article she had read on the plane. “I think they’re Rubia Gallega. Supposedly, their meat is amazing.”

Caged by the Wolf King

Caged by the Wolf King

Something happy. He was silent for a moment. Then he began. "Once, there was a wolf who was afraid of the dark," he said. "He would not go out at night. He would not hunt by moonlight. He was afraid of the shadows." She smiled against his chest. "One night, a moonflower spoke to him. She told him that the dark was not something to fear. It was something to embrace. It was where the stars lived. It was where the moon shone. It was where the most beautiful things grew."

But now, staring into their wide, innocent eyes, I found myself at a loss for words. "Is it true, Mum? Are you really the Spirit Wolf?" Sarah's voice was tinged with a mix of awe and worry. Alexander stepped in, his presence immediately grounding me. "Yes, it's true," he said, kneeling down to meet the twins at eye level. "Mummy is the Spirit Wolf now." Their eyes grew impossibly larger, and I could see a thousand questions swimming in their minds. "So, does this mean we can have magic, too?" Liam's enthusiasm bubbled over, and I couldn't help but smile.

I'm glad i stuck it out. yes, the book is long, and at times, it does drag on, but what the author did, they did justice to the story itself. unlike most books, the endings are always a letdown. this author knew how to conclude it. continued in comments

It is a long book but I didn’t feel like it dragged out because it was so full of details and the author made sure to tie up any loose ends so it didn’t leave you wondering. Will definitely be sticking around for the fantasy version of it.

The White Wolf

The White Wolf

“I didn’t know.” “Know that you brought a bigoted murderess to our door?” Magnus spat at her. “I didn’t know.” She said softly and hung her head. “I think we are done with witch mentoring.” He took off his clothes and burst into his wolf. The giant black wolf with a white stripe on his chest bounded towards me, yipping. He sailed over me at the last moment, turning in play. My wolf engaged and began to run towards the back of the property. A run was exactly what I needed. The wicked witch was dead by her own dark magic. Dark magic that tried to kill me. The monsters that hide in plain sight are the scariest.

Moonlit Magic

Moonlit Magic

Rita Two weeks of secret library sessions had sharpened Rita’s instincts—both magical and otherwise. Tonight, Derek’s questions had taken a strange turn. "Ancestral magic is fascinating," he mused, flipping a page in a crumbling grimoire. "But imagine if you could channel the power of a living witch. Borrow their strength, amplify your own..." Rita’s fingers stilled on the book she was holding. "That sounds like blood magic." Derek waved a dismissive hand. "Not necessarily. There are other ways to form bonds between witches. Covens do it all the time."

THE DOOR

THE DOOR

The air around its massive hands began to warp and distort as chaotic magical energy gathered there, snapping and hissing like broken electrical wires. This was a "Savage Man," though Mwajuma did not yet know the tragic truth of what it used to be. She only saw a monster. She only saw a target. The beast lunged, throwing a massive arm forward. A jagged bolt of raw, unstable magical force tore through the damp air, aimed directly at her chest.

LUNA: The Invisible Princess (Book 1)

LUNA: The Invisible Princess (Book 1)

I asked. The old woman cleared her throat and spoke, “This is the world of Majika. Where every one of us that lives in this place has magic. Majika World has split into two; the world of Mage, where you are now, and the other is the world of Black Wizards. Black Wizards are the mortal enemy of the Mages. The Black Wizards use black magic, and it is harmful. And witch wizards curse our town, and tonight we will all transform into wolves, whether young or adults. That’s because of that witch’s curse.” the old woman explained sadly. That’s so sad. "Is there any way you can get rid of the curse?" I asked. I wanted to help them undo the curse.
