Whatever threat loomed, he needed to be there to face it. Without a second thought, Magnus bolted out of the cabin, his feet carrying him swiftly through the forest. He moved with purpose, the familiar landscape blurring around him as he raced against time. His mind was focused solely on reaching Tribiano before it was too late. But as he neared the edge of the forest, a chilling darkness swept across his path.

I whispered and he chuckled. “Same here. We’ll leave in two hours if we don’t see the Alpha…” He muttered and I nodded. His phone began vibrating and he removed it from his coat. His eyes went dim for a second as he silenced it immediately. “I need to use the restroom, I’ll be back in a few minutes alright. Give me a call when the Alpha arrives.” He muttered and I nodded, feeling slightly uneasy. I exhaled deeply as I grabbed a glass of champagne, sipping lightly as I watched them talk bullshit about some new company and collaboration.
